  • With countless digital resources, you need the right tools to effectively develop and accurately communicate designs to all stakeholders. Rhino.Inside Revit combines best-in-class tools to synchronize workflows, allowing users to access programs like Rhino and Grasshoper within Revit. Join our program as we show the Rhino workflow from early design and model exploration to further refinement and documentation with Revit, using the Rhino.Inside Revit add-on. During this program, Microsol AEC Application Specialist Joseph Freund will share tips and tricks for a seamless Rhino-to-Revit workflow, eliminating needless importing/exporting so that models can be cleanly integrated into the final production environment.

Hi there, thanks for the nice examples. This looks amazing.
I got a question regarding an issue which still prevents me from using Rhino Inside Revit (RIR): How can I deal with changes? When I start adding information to the blunt geometry (concrete strength, construction stage, cost groups, etc) and I need to make changes later, RIR will always create a new geometry rather than changing it. Basically I need to bake into Revit, but then I can´t make many changes. I see that I can add some parameters, but do I need a node for each of them? It would be great if GH could read the Revit ID and substitute the existing geometry with the new one without overwriting ( = deleting) all the attached information. Otherwise it seems like GH => Dynamo => Revit is a more efficient workflow as soon as we go beyond the sketch design phase...
    ... and I don´t really like Dynamo ...
Any workaround / hint is highly appreciated :)

Hey exciting stuff! Just wondering if you have rhino.inside.revit version 1.1 or even before? Cuz the current version has some problem running on my laptop… thanks!
