IMHO, there are only two musicians in (north) India who have attained this Himalayan height in music. Ustaad Bismillah and Lata. Absolutely NO ONE can even dream of that level of tonal perfection, beauty, technical mastery over every micro-second of performance, genius of presentation and most importantly reflecting the very soul of India.
Ut. Bismillah's music has always taken me back to rural mornings, afternoon and evenings where the very heart of India lives...
