I guess this comes to what one prefers, highly defined sound and true deep bass for a smaller unit at a bank breaking cost, or a standard functional sounds at a flexible pocket manageable costs....be the judge....
JBL's products is quality. It serves you quality sound, quality materials, splashproof (X2 is waterproof), and any service have the parts if it comes to fixing the speaker. And the JBL logo means quality, and they paid for that fact, that if you see the JBL's logo you can trust in them.

i've just paid not even 10€!!! for those speakers, you can play music via card, usb,Bluetooth, even hear radio, the led is funny extra feature, the sound quality is quite good tbh (at least for me) and they can be loud. that was a good Investment for me, im very happy and satisfyed😊
The jbl hands down sounds better. But for a 1/4 of the price the tg is worth it
you can get t&g for 5€ used, and easily modify it (dozens of vids on yt how to do it) put better speakers into it, add higher mah 18650, for 25€ you'll get the same sound as 250€ jbl's

Boombass L9 vs Jbl xtreme please
The TG states 40w how accurate is this. Does anyone know?
I did a teardown video for it (link below) and it's only 20W.

So.....what would you recommend
If you are asking for the BEST sound quality than JBL for your wallet the T&G.
I got lucky I found a cheaper JBL because the battery was defective but I got to reinstall some old laptop batteries in it and still working till this day (its over two years old now).
I have a portableTG 118 Bluetooth speaker that I bought and which after a year or so stop charging the battery don't want to charge the battery no more it turns on but it don't I don't want to play both cable naked and possibly on the battery I connect it they are not broken if anybody know what it could be the problem please let me know and I'll comment thank you
If it's not charging and the connections to the batteries are okay, that means the batteries needs to be replaced.
No surprise here, just buy something from Anker, Soundcore, Tronsmart - good speakers, not JBL replicas that disappoint. Thanks for the video!
I bought a TG for my atv but I might use it for my imac
The JBL sounds much more clear while the T&G sounds a little muddy which is expected. I have a JBL but am nervous to take it on the boat when I go wake boarding with friends so I’ve been looking into a T&G. Might pick one up. It doesn’t sound half bad and when you riding on a boat I don’t think I’ll notice much of a difference.
jbl has wider soundstage and sounds brighter, t&g on the other hand sounds warm and i think has more bass.
I'd personally go for the t&g for its price range
I clearly missed many frequencies i T&G wheres in JBL sound was rich, ver good comparison by you when you were switching both sounds , Thanks
Thank you 😊
Thanks from me too 😁
@@ACOnetwork no worries
Is the bass of this better than tg106?
Yes TG 118 has better bass
How about the 113?
@@4tranip232 I never had that speaker but if your looking for a speaker that has some bass but not too expensive then I would suggest the 152. I did a video of it if you like to hear some sound samples.
@@TaylorSoloaiJR ok thanks for the info
JBL sounds awesome. T&G sounds like a can. Thus the price difference.
does any body think this isnt a gangstalker for scientologists? this isnt even a real peorson just a copy of her mother sorry
For me: JBL sounds better but is much expensive
definitely agree with you on that
JBL, ang lupit!
for the price sounds like the 20 bluetooth speaker punches above its weight
when I save some money I'll buy JBL xtreme 3 its 320$ in my country now I bought t&g 504 for 35$ sounds pretty good to me
you
deserve
better
I have TnG189 and it is great for me and i know that it is worse than a JBL but it gets the job done
They can be better when the speaker drivers and amplifier are upgraded as well, but that's if you have spare time and into stuff like that.
I have a t&g ngl and it sounds great for a budget Bluetooth speaker I did a little modifications tho, and it sounded even better than what it sounded when I bought it🎶🎶👍👌
Some of the T&G speakers I had before are really good for the price. My personal favorite is the TG 505, battery life isn't great but that can be easily upgraded.
What was the modification that you did?

@@unclechin34 Hi Sorry, Um all i did was put some foam inside the speakers and used an equalizer on my phone.
@@madamerage8518 just foam and equalizer. and some glue so that the speakerbox will be airtight. Most of their speakers arent airtight.
Funny enough I'm listening to this through a jbl extreme
T&G sounds warmer. Jbl is kinda bright sounding.
I'd buy the t&g, because I have tinnitus.
JBL is clean nice sound, T&G had sound and works. JBL ia my choice.
Good choice
One thing that no one isconsidering here is the quality of the battery. JBL is the clear winner.
What kinda music sound test was that bra? 😂
The kind you don't like bra :)
No bass for t&g.. jbl sounds awesome
I really like the new t&g that they just release
Thx for the test,u said nothing about the battery though, which is the most important part to me.
Any T&G speaker will only last up to 1 hour at full volume.
@@TaylorSoloaiJR ok,thx, thats not much,i dont wanna buy it now
To me jbl sounds better. I have the jbl charge 5 and that is good enough for my use. Now I got so bored of listening the same thing over and over. So I an starting to enjoy peace and quiet.
Both sounds great
Song name pls?
Sound Comparison Song: Kalimba by Cxdy
Background Music: Honey by Bad Snacks
Thanks
You're welcome
lol that T&G sounds terrible
I have LG Music Flow P7
For probably almost 4 years, I would like to have more bass, but ok. I heard once JBL big speaker, bass, sound, great, but still it is too expensive speaker (and I do not have money for waisting). Anyway thanks for the comperation dude. 😎
I actually got this for about $100 because it the battery was dead but I used laptop batteries to make it work again because at the time the original battery was too expensive. It's okay, you'll get a JBL one day.
@@TaylorSoloaiJR I got this LG speaker for free with my ex smartphone LG G4 (defective motherboards mostly).
On P7 I alerady took a part, I wanted to see, what is in there😋. Only originall wall charger made pcb to freeze, I needed to fisically disconnect battery and reconnect it, so I can again use it loool.
@@ACOnetwork awesome, I wish I had free defective speakers that I could try and fix 😂
@@TaylorSoloaiJR it was defective wall charger and motherboard of LG G4 hehe. Speaker works fine. Most bass I get, when I put it near tiles in toilet room. I have couple cheap chinese speaker also but okay not using them loool
Menurut saya, bass speaker bluetooth portable TG 118 , bass bagus
tnx.
