    1. Takes what they do very seriously.
    2. Doesn't BS the customer
    3. Is not afraid to share.

    I did the lifetime membership for $350 this year and I got a blue label coupon within a week with my membership package. I have taken the AC- Armorers Course which was one day. It requires two years of experience to take the Advanced Armorers two day class. Beginning January of 2022 the Advanced Armorers course will only be available in Georgia.

    The old trigger bars created a "hot spot" for the trigger spring. The curve was added to reduce spring breakage. Then, from the 42 on, they changed the trigger spring system altogether.
    I still have a bunch of the old bars. The trigger spring is only $3 or $4. Change them out every 5000 rounds.

    I've been a GLOCK armorer and advanced armorer for many years. Starting in 2022 GLOCK is now only offering the advanced course in Georgia for some reason, now people like me who don't live in the area will not be able to get the training.
    I wonder if not to many people signed up for the advanced course so it wasn't worth the effort but it's a real shame as I always enjoyed it.

    Regarding Florida climate, true story:
    Growing up in Central Florida, I recall a ruined hunting trip in Southern Florida. While staying on the "designated roads", I was made to walk back and forth in front of my dad in the truck, simply so he'd have a visual representation of the elevation & grade of said "designated road", since he was unable to see how far below the SURFACE OF THE WATER the aforementioned "DESIGNATED ROAD" was.
    Side note: ya ever seen a gater swim across the road? Yeah, it's a Florida thing...
    Anyway, like I said, it was a ruined hunting trip as I imagine my dad misjudged my height or possibly the height of the truck because he straight up DROWNED that truck. 2 bent rods & a 3 mile hike back to help wasn't very conducive to a successful hunting trip.
    Memorable though....🤪

    You do absolute magic on Glocks, really enjoy the information you have.
    I'm wondering if it's possible to modify a glock 20 10mm trigger bar to work with the Timney trigger system, the reason I'm asking is I contacted Timney Triggers to see if they had plans to build their trigger for the glock 20/21 and their answer was no.
    I think that trigger would be excellent in a hunting application.
    Timney trigger + glock 20 10mm = venison in the freezer.

Like the LE folks who took apart their duty pistol and found at the range it was not done right…or the LE folks dropping 9mm into a .40 cal and. Blowing them up.

    Johny maybe you can help with my issue. My Gen 3 Glock is consistently having light primer strikes, they're ALWAYS off center and to the side. I think you said it was the telltale sign of a out of battery gun but i can't pinpoint what is the issue. All the springs are new (and OEM), same for the striker assembly. The only aftermarket parts is the slide (Strike Industries) and the barrel (Faxon).

    I feel bad bothering u with my crazy always but literally nobody else online can help. I mean they can but it never actually solves anything. I have a p80 compact with a Swenson slide all glock internals. My connector is completely adjusted in and its still dragging. I don't wanna grind the slide cam up I had this problem before and it ground a huge Grove. I have a gen 4 housing the gen 3 was even worse. I have changed the connectors the housings the trigger bars nothing works swapping some parts helps minimal but I have absolutely 0 adjustment left and its dragging. Iv stippled the left side of the housing because it wasn't center .that helped minimal also. If I don't stipple the side it won't reset because it moves to the left and still drags. Im so confused idk maybe the slide out a wack but I have a full frame with a Swenson and it works but its also completely adjusted and u can't feel it a tiny bit.im assuming something wrong because all my other p80s are completely smooth u can't feel the cam or anything and they work perfectly. Im sure this will work but I don't wanna grind a Grove.

    • @johnnyglocks
      @johnnyglocks  3 роки тому +1

      Sounds like it's something intrinsic to the frame or the slide. But it sounds more like the frame honestly brother I just ditch it and move on if there's a warp in it you're never going to be able to chase it down.

    • @joemuffin789
      @joemuffin789 3 роки тому

      @@johnnyglocks man i really appreciate you responding. Especially because your advice is always working. So it was something out of shape. After messing with it back and forth for a week my fingers are raw. So I decided to check out the frame and rear rail matching it up to my other ones. Something is wrong with the frame but I noticed it was with the rear only and swapped out the rail with a spare I had. I also had to re work that rail a bit. Its weird my other slides work on this frame and the slide on this goofy frame works on other frames. But the slide i want on the frame just wouldn't work lol. I think its because the tolerance is just so tight there 0 play. And the frame being kinda tweaked it just wasn't gonna happen. After u said its warped I remembered wen I boiled it to dye it and knew u wer 100 percent right. Ther is literally no other person online to contact with correct information. Atleast that will actually respond.

    Love you, love your channel, and appreciate your wisdom and teaching. I have learned a TON from you….but ‘Wick’ saying that about a company oiling parts for shipping, is stupid, uneducated, and simply something a true ‘Glocktard’ would say…I will define ‘Glocktard’ in a second….a company that does oil parts, in my opinion, is doing their ‘ due diligence’ to make sure there are no issues. Even stainless steel, CAN RUST or corrode under certain conditions…so I would say most of them are just covering their asses. Now, Wick saying that, ‘any company that DOES oil there parts must be garbage’….in more or less words, is exactly the attitude that ‘Glocktards’ have. Glocktards are different from Glock ‘fans’. Glocktards are the retards that claim Glock are the best, Glock are perfect, Glocks are the only reliable gun on the planet…and if you shoot anything OTHER than a Glock, you are inferior or stupid. I have been running guns for over 30 years, and although Glocks are DECENT guns, they leave A LOT to be desired out of the box. I will NOT run a Glock, unless I do some significant upgrades and refinements. I am NOT saying a Glock will not run reliably out of the box, that is exactly what ‘Glocktards’ say about everything except a Glock. But back to my point, Wick making that statement just took all credibility that he did have, away in my opinion. Glocks are great, but they are FAR from the best out of the box…and Glocktards made me not even consider a Glock for the longest time. I do own several ‘enhanced’ Glocks now…but the Glocktard attitude is a real turn off, and shows people stupidity and entitlement attitude….just sayin’. I will not be back here to argue with the Glocktards, because I know you are gonna be super butthurt and won’t know how to go on in life now that someone actually had the audacity to say something negative about thou holy Glock…they are great, but far from what the G-tards claim they are. Get over yourselves, you make everyone who does shoot a Glock, look like an asshole to a lot of people.
