Thanks for a great tutorial. My problem is that i get so frustrated when i do something wrong. I started to color some weeks ago to reduce anxiety and stress and it worked in the start. Now i throw away 90% of my pictures cause i am not satisfied with them. It went from an anti stress hobby to a hobby that cause frustration and i don't like it. I think one of my problem is that i compare my coloring with true artists and then i get disapointed. I really have to work with that and come back to color just for fun. What i want to say is, never compare your work with pro:s, compete with yourself and try to improve and if you don't improve, just keep going for fun and stress release. I wish i could do that in a better way.

I am sure your coloring skills are fantastic. It does take a lot of practice, viewing others tutorials, and just coloring and more coloring. Don't do it to create perfection in what you see because what you see and what others see is two different things. Sometimes we are our own worst critic. If you just want to color without getting frustrated, how about getting some alcohol markers and a grayscale book and just straight color? You can even do the same with pencils and just straight color. Thank you for watching.

I’m so pleased I’ve found you, I’m basically just watching all your 8 tutorials back to back this evening (now early hours in morning) but I just can’t stop watching you colour. I love the way you describe and explain why it needs shading or highlights and it’s clicked with me, and I’ve watched LOADS of other videos. I seriously can’t wait for my items to arrive. Also would it ok with you if I ook a snap shot of your swatch sheet, so I can put my pencils in the same order as you have, as I wouldn’t have a clue with purple blue shades etc, it would help me massively. Or I could just watch n keep pausing the video where u do your swatch sheet. Can’t wait to watch and colour along with you in future videos. Will you be going back and forth too the two pages your colouring already the deer and this page, as it would be great to colour a whole page as a tutorial or maybe a couple flowers from each page. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in UA-cam videos. I’m glad you’re enjoying my videos though. Happy coloring!

fantastic video; love how you explain all the steps too; I just started a month ago to use my Artezas for a color along and love them:) Do you have the Klara Markova books? I think Artezas will be great in her books too; her books are gorgeous

I am so glad you’re enjoying my videos. I do have a Klara Markova book but don’t use it for my tutorials because not many people have that book. I like to use books that I would assume more people own. A lot of my following here on UA-cam is also in my Facebook group and we do a lot of polls and voting on color alongs. This way I know what books most people own already before making videos. Thank you for watching and have a great day!

There are lots of videos on my channel and color alongs using Prismacolor. For this series I am using the Arteza now. I’ll go back to my Prismacolor very soon.

Just pick colors similar to what she’s using from the pencils you have and follow along. You don’t need to have the same brand of pencils or the exact colors to mimic, or learn from, a tutorial.

I really enjoyed watching this video. I’m a beginner even though I have been coloring for several years. I love how you go through the page and explain so clearly. You certainly brought the frog to life. I learned so much with only one video. I look forward to seeing more.
