Today i reveiw inmotion v14 seat by inmotion and i found it is ok for a quick sit down for like racing tracks were you want to sit down on straights and keep lower sliding side to side as you hit corners and braking seems good on this seat! BUT for relaxing seated rides its not that good as its too slippy and you slid down the sieat sitting on the edge of seat if seat was extended with a second peice to go over the handle it might just work but if not then back to the drawing board for inmotion on this one also covering the orignal tail light was a bad idea, with a velcroed on led bike ligtht. on roads trafic need to see when your braking so for on the road traveling not very safe i rate this seat 5/10 ..............
I love the panels!!! Thats pretty slick - the orange and black. Grizzla has something coming it looks like that works into the design that inmotion has for the rear light- the light on the back of the v14 is one of the best in the industry if not the best... covering that up seems a crying shame.
I bet your knees were a little sore having to pushback against all that slipping.
Yer soon as I put one pannle on I knew it had to stay like that and I’m hoping to test the grizzla seat out in 3-4 weeks all been well can’t wait looks super good grizzla seat and my knees were killing mate haha 😂
Nice one Frank the rear light is clear to illuminate the colours when you choose them. The grip tape is a good idea just experiment with the amount too much you wont be able to move and the one for 3D printing is not free he wants $20USD and its not official as you know ..... lets face it you dont have time to stand with all that jumping hahaha
Thanks Lee mate yes it’s very bright and love some rgb going be cool if they send underglows lights out for the peddles lol and yer will see what happens as think seat getting sent back and aww yes the 3d print file you gotta pay for that’s no good unless he gives you the file lol and is not official is it 3rd part making them mate and I can’t wait for grizzla seat it’s the one that looking the best up to now and haha ya right there mate not much sitting around going on here haha just can’t seem to find any decent jumps close by so spades are coming out haha 😂
thanks for sharing. Some of this materials have a glossy coating. Perhaps, rubbing the surface with a rug with alcohol (ethanol) you could remove that glossy finish and the material become less slippery. 😉
It’s not so bad after getting use to it think the trousers helped it to be more slippy but once ya give it a while few 100 miles it grows on you will do update soon
What about adding neoprene to build it up and shape it as you like?
not a bad idea tbh mate just i do feel the seat is slightly short as well be nice to make it just 2" longer lol
I wouldn't use grip tape I'd use either surfboard wax or Grippo ( lawn bowls grip paste ), and it won't sand your strides down !

Try adding some grip tape on the top to stop the slipping.

this has been happening for so long with motorcycle seats, R&D didn't have to look to far oh well they get a F on not doing their homework
Maybe you can get something embroidered on the seat and it will give it some grip

Honestly INMOTION just been taking Ls Mann they been doing a lot of stupid shitt. Dumb ass seat n cheap ass light they give for the tail light. Man just send it back and wait for cp Grizzla or nylon nova to make a seat. My V14 should be coming tomorrow so I’m happy for that. I’m might get the erides pedal and grizzla pads a bit later down the future
We will see what happens maybe a redesign is in order haha and yes grizzla looking mint and nylon making one too looking forward to seeing that seat too

totaly agree brother twin lol tbh more im using it better its getting the sliding forward is good if you slide back up the ramp of the seat its perfect for braking while been seated so thats a good thing on that park for safty

@@nicholasdorazio10 well I’m liking it more than I first thought the slippy down is no longer a problem and seems like a good seat for safty as braking while seated seems to be the best iv experience tbh could be better but it grows on you also adds protection too from falls lol

If it had a extra front part added on that folds up to acess handle would be spot on and wrap it for grip cheaper option lol
Toss that thing and get a Begode Extreme and be way better off in every capacity

@88Nikoli nope nope and nope. Begode has the best of everything now. I ride with a guy on s22 and it sucks compared to extreme. 100 percent you are wrong repeating what people said

I agree that is a horrible design. if I had the measurements I would build a nice for this model. So if anyone has a mold,or anything i can use to create a seat please let me know. I have all the supplies on hand from 3d printing ,to heavy duty sewing machine,to leather and colored stitching ,steel and welders so yea i can make something.
that would be intresting i hope some one hits you up mate as id love to see many desings for this seat altho its a wheel ya wont be sitting down much lol
It’s not your riding gear materials contributing to you sliding? Do you have the same issue wearing jeans? I know it’s fairly rigid now, but it’ll likely soften with use over time
Yes it could of been that as well feels a lot better now after riding it getting use to it I now feel like it’s better than s22 to seat ride and the part I slide down on I slide bk up to help brake so I’m loving it now altho it’s falling apart round base as you have to take it off and on to charge wheel up so some splitting happening on the underside that helps hold it on so will see iv did about 350 miles with it will do a 500 mile update with the seat soon

Dude, of course its gonna slip while its not moving. I guarantee it won't slip while your riding with feet on the pedals🤷🤦
@@TheGameTease depends on the pants you wear but it’s deffo slippy with track pants on and Leatt ones not the best seat but once ya slid down to the very edge of the seat it seems ok then but your sitting on very edge I don’t like it tbh but every one is different on we’re they sit on a wheel and how ther bums sit on it with its shape but will find out once I test another seat like grizzla seat for v14 waiting on that one ☝️
For now you could add something to raise the front couldnt you?
yes your right i did wedge a 10mm plastic under neeth front part made it much better but inmotion could add a second peice that adds more to sit on at front over the trolly handle wedging a 10mm under the back part of seat will work good aparts fron not seeing the light id give it 8 out of 10 if they did that lol
Every company besides Begode is messing up. Maybe leaperkim is OK but still 2nd place. Kingsong is just gonna go out of businesses.

@namesseth4996 uh yeah they do. The A2 is officially the most water proof wheel and the extreme is water proof. More than any competition. They don't pay for IP ratings that's true. Their wheels are waterproofed the best of any

@@KaliKavala thank you yes a script would be ideal tbh i will try better but to be honest im not too fussed as this is my second utube channle as last one i was botherd making money from it till utube deleted it but ill deffo try and present the product better next time normal dont do things like that bud had to from last seat i tested on v12 so will deffo try better next time with the next seat wheel or bike maybe taking to the skys i just do the video for fun to watch bk my rides out lol

Could it be that your pants is the culprit and the material on your pants is a slippery one, which hinders it from gripping on the seat.
Could be that as well I did think that as well and say about it in video maybe different of you had jeans on but still not the best design as not much seat we’re you actually sitting on wheel iv getting use to it more will do a update video of how it’s been but can’t wait for grizzla seat it’s going to be fire 🔥
@@electriceheads369 yeah, the seat could be better. I just don't know why, why InMotion just gather a bunch of euc riders and just try it out and get their opinions to perfecting the seat, material used and design...as you pointed out, the seat is covering the backlight of the unit, which is also a major design flaw.
i totaly agree mate deffo needs more euc riders testing the seat befor relesing it altho i think it was a third party who made them for inmotion think its the same guys who made the power jump pads ect and yes te led light they send out was a joke lol haah
