After this session: Stefano enters boulder world cup final flashing all the jumping/paddle/parkour boulders, celebrating with backflip dismount after every boulder top.
i guess that's what happens when a strong (youtuber) athlete in a relatively close sport takes a real interest in climbing. It honestly would be the same with anyone who already does fun videos (go and watch Storror everyone) and has a great level in parkour, gymnastics, calisthenics or idk what. That's what i felt from the videos of Magnus with people like Odin & Fredrik (gymnasts) or Chris Heria (calisthenics), it's always "you could become good so fast" and above that they have a unique style from their discipline.
I've been teaching parkour professionally for the last 4 years. And I've been doing parlour for 14. What this video had taught me is that Toby is REALLY good at teaching parkour actually! He did and explained everything perfectly! Usually good athletes are not the best at teaching
@@AntonAdelson I've been tempted to try out a parkour class at a gym some time but I am a bit older. I'm 36 but in fairly decent shape. I'm just worried I'd be the only old dude there. Would you say you teach people around my age? XD
@@DrexOtter who cares if you are the only old dude? You will turn into the cool old dude who wants to learn parkour. And I think everyone should learn basic parkour simply because it improves coordination and teaches how to land safely, both of which are really useful regardless of age.
Yeah ! I was able to backflip from...being 10 years old or so ? But like Stephano, i spent sometimes 5, 6 10 years without doing it, and everytime it took me some attempts to understand again how to come back here. With the explanation from Toby of "jump then tuck hard" i think i now somehow have the formula for breaking it back everytime more rapidly. Awesome !
@@DrexOtter I'm 30 and started learning parkour this year. It's great honestly no regrets. I'm training with kids 12-13 year old lol, but it's alright they're all pretty chill and don't mind me. The teacher is 37 so that helps I guess. It's great to feel mobile on the horizontal plane again after being mostly playing on the vertical plane (climbing).
Toby is such a likeable guy. He can do absolutely amazing things but is so humble and down to earth. He just loves sharing his skills and enthusiasm for parkour with as many he can.
THe difference in sound of Toby's feet hitting the volumes vs Stefano's in unbeleivable, shows just how perfect Toby's technique is at transferring his momentum through to each step. 4:44 vs 5:00 for example
in general yeah 100% thats interesting to notice, but that example is not perfect because toby is dropping down from a controlled position and stefano is landing from a "missed" jump
Toby, you are an exceptional student and teacher/coach -- besides being a super elite Parkour athlete. One more commendation: together with Storror you're so natural in front of a camera that all of us in your viewing audience feel very much included. Your friendly accommodating and encouraging interactions on top of all that has made you a hero for many young followers. Bravo. And God bless you Toby. ❤
I cringed when I saw him jump on the replica problem. His fingers may be strong from parkour, but those tiny crimps take years of training to be able to handle...
Damn Toby is a beast. This was the same day he tore his tendon right? You can see the micro-expressions of pain on his face as you continue shooting this second video. I hope you have a speedy recovery Toby!
Seeing Stefano's psych after sticking a clean backflip takes me back. I swear for a second it was 20 years ago at an open gym night after watching the same three david belle videos over and over for three hours.
@Storrror crew snuck into my climbing youtube algorithm few months ago, and somehow watching their videos made me less scared on the wall - most probably my brain got trained that parkour IS THE SCARY sport, and climbing is relatively safe haha.
Stefano, it's great to see the two of you work together! Love the mutual respect and appreciation for each other's primary sports. It's all about effective movement at the heart, even with all the modern spectacles and flair. It's crazy how the human body adapts differently though... Toby spends his whole career launching himself off his hands, catching himself on sketchy surfaces, even climbing at a pretty high level... yet pulling on some of those holds can put him out of commission. Toby's enthusiasm is awesome, not to mention contagious, but I understand your caution for parkour stuff 😂. Just like in climbing, it takes a lot of time to build up the body's tolerance for some of the motions and especially the impacts. Bouldering comes with impacts, but I'm not sure how that translates to concrete. Give it some time, though, and I bet Toby will come up with some crazy dynamic moves as a route setter if he keeps going with it. Waiting for a catpass start to a boulder problem lol
When watching this always remember Toby is a top level atlete and has jnsane power ever compared to other high level parcour athletes. Its really impressie ti see how far a climber can go.
So cool u and Toby work together. The man Toby, is beyond a legend he is litteraly always evolving the craft in parkour. But rest stoorrer boys do same aswell. Would b epic to see your own expertise climbing some the structures the guys say nope to. And you easily climb it
First Pete and Tom addicted him into crack, then Toby taught him that speed is everything. No wonder Stefano came to finland for some snow and buldering 🤣
Ste in un video hai messo insieme la mia più grande passione che è l'arrampicata, e ci hai aggiunto il parkour con Toby, che seguo su Storror. È un po che provo a fare il backflip ma con questo video mi hai dato la carica definitiva💪🏼
First beanie bouldering, then performing parcours skills and a crazy clean backflip. What's next ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ? Perfect collab with infectious chemistry ;)
Heyy! Just a little tip for the backflip, instead of reaching forward with your hands to tuck, you should keep the backwards rotation going with your arms and catch your ankles while you throw your knees to your shoulders. This allows all of your body to follow the same motion and makes the backflip look cleaner.
Ruptured Pulley? If you’re still in Sheff get yourself to the Sheffield climbing clinic Toby. They’ll be able to scan it and give you a special splint.
I would be afraid of one unlucky backflip ruining my climbing ability, incredible that Stefano isn't. I practiced trampoline tricking for a few years and don't want to go back 😅
After this session: Stefano enters boulder world cup final flashing all the jumping/paddle/parkour boulders, celebrating with backflip dismount after every boulder top.
If he keeps training with all these different specialists, he's going to be the most well-rounded climber on earth. Olympics LET'S GO!
It's smart as hell what he's doing. With more and more crack and dynos being put in comps he's doing the right thing.
I swear Toby Segar is just a climbing genie, he just pops up in random videos all over UA-cam to mess around on some rocks.
i guess that's what happens when a strong (youtuber) athlete in a relatively close sport takes a real interest in climbing. It honestly would be the same with anyone who already does fun videos (go and watch Storror everyone) and has a great level in parkour, gymnastics, calisthenics or idk what.

I cannot imagine a video that's not enhanced by the presence of Toby Segar.
i agree! he's such a positive energy
Toby you're everywhere these days mate! I love it!
Same! is it time for a Miguel and Toby collab? :D
@@Bobbzorzen Lol, I'm afraid I'll break some bones if I have to do any sort of parkour with Toby. But I'd love to climb with him one day.
Toby is such an amazing teacher! Breaking down each aspect of the moves and being supportive about each minor step. Amazing to see this collab!

I guess the challenge is set, can any other pro climbers do a backflip? Ondra has been pretty quiet since this video dropped 👀
Ondra would do it in one go & downgrade it to a bunny hop, or something
Mickaël Mawem chucks them regularly
toby’s gonna dyno all of silence by the end of the year
I imagine Toby could get Pete there pretty quick.
Tomoa has a background in gymnastics so he can do them easily. Ive also seen videos of him backflipping of the bouldering wall

I love how Toby gets 100% psyched when he teaches something
true. i am so happy seeing him happy teaching. like i am smiling throughout that part

Yeah the years of Parkour, where he's done things like handrail to handrail. You need to know how to put your feet where you want them precisely.
Yea good call. Stefano is hitting those flat footed where the majority of Toby's impact is on the front of his foot and being redirected forward.
Toby’s such a gem. What a talented man. I hope god grants him so many more years of doing what he loves.

I cringed when I saw him jump on the replica problem. His fingers may be strong from parkour, but those tiny crimps take years of training to be able to handle...
@@ziggen159 yeah thankfully he was okay on the replica it was Stefano’s tiny red crimps that screwed him
the fact that tony can keep up with arguably one of the best climbers in the world is a testament to his skills
I love the instant and automatic respect in these cross-discipline videos.
toby is the most wholesome guy god dam love him
I'm in love with how often I've been seeing Toby in climbing videos recently, as a former Parkour coach this is an absolute treat!
In love with Toby. Incredible teaching and psychological awareness too!
Stefano was RIPPING those knees up.
Insane tuck for someone who hasn't done it in 8 years.
Imagine Stefano sending Burden of Dreams and doing a backflip on the top of the boulder, sick mate

Would love to see more collab content with the two of you.
Toby’s quote of the day “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah”
This is the best collaboration on the internet ❤❤❤
Really true, man
Man your happiness rating out the screen on that last backflip! Good Job!
Unbelievable, I loved watching the backflip being accomplished!
Well done good souls, God bless.
no screw bits was harmed in the making of this video lol you def need to try some parkour outside with toby
Love seeing collabs with Toby, theyre always so much fun!
Really tho, that pure happiness got me right in the feels. So good. Congrats and thanks for the amazing content.
Spreading the swag! Great teaching, fun times. Love to watch, we learn a lot, and enjoy always.
Dang the Ginger Ninja is everywhere big respect to the the one and only Toby Wan Kenobi Storror parkourist
Upcoming video of Toby taking Stefano out on the streets like he did Pete?
That would be unreal ! , pete was incredible at parkour , love the crossover videos 😊
It's always fun seeing pros help evolve others in difrent fields.
Toby is a ray of sunshine ☺
People should learn a lot from how Toby conducts himself, top bloke.
Grande Stefano, sei un enorme idolo e motivazione per migliorare e dare sempre il massimo, grazie mille.
These two together have a fantastic energy! Just amazing to watch!
That backflip was so good. Been teaching people backflips for years, never seen someone doing it so easily😅
What a great video!
Also my first Video from Stephano! {I Come from the Parkour Community}
Great video! Love the chemistry between the two of You.
Things I never thought I'd see in my life, Stefano doing a standing backflip
Impressive ! o__o I would like to see Magnus also trying a backflip
He has tried it in multiple videos - it appears to be the one weakness he has ^^
Thank you so so so so much Stefano 😊🙌🏻 you da best🤜🏻🤛🏻🔥
Amazing attitude from Toby as always!

I’m genuinely inspired to learn to backflip now!
Well done lads!

It sounds so simple but I learned how to backflip as a kid and my teacher just told me to think “up” and most the time that worked lmao.

I want see Stefano do a backflip after his next WC victory!
what a backflip!

HAHAH i'm fucking BEAMING at the last few minutes. What a great pair.
That's so cool i've always wanted to do a backflip, but i don't know how you learn it on your own, no one to support you from behind hah, dangerous

Toby is a legend
I subbed for the wall flip 😁
Is there a footage of Stefano sending Excalibur, cant wait to see it

Damn the backflip is super clean even landing on the spot you jumped
You need to give tips to Magnus now
Ok, but the vibe of this colab
Well Done Deepu.
