Exactly the video I was looking for. Nice job 👍. I liked the method of one panel straight down and then cutting at the separations /panels. Thank you !! I’m renting - wondering if it’s easy to remove. And hence what I WILL RESEARCH NEXT. 😆

Thanks for sharing! Great idea. I'm thinking of using like a gray mat of sorts, like what you might use to wrap a car subwoofer, you know? May look cool, and absorb some sound. Thanks for sharing!

I covered my ceiling in acoustic panels and it helped! You just have to be careful with how much weight you add to the door. (You can also increase the spring tension). Good luck!

I recently did the reflective insulation on my garage door. It also helped quiet it down one way, but the styrofoam still makes some of that squeally rubbing noise. This door is pretty beat up and as out of shape as I am.

When you say quiet down do you mean the echo in the garage or the noise of the door going up? Lol I feel ya!

The garage door was noisy. Mostly unfinished and plenty of stuff in the garage to keep the echo down.

Nice idea. Wondering of a pattern to incorporate garage door windows. Rainbow lol? Maybe go ROYGBIV with a colored filter on each window?

Can we use this on the wooden garage doors for the outside Ed? I love it.

I would hesitate to do that. I don't see it holding up well against the elements

@@EdgasketGarage It's just a matter of personal test. I'm not saying that you should change it, just that it doesn't appeal to me. I get that 60's vibe from it, sort of like you see on older houses that need to be renovated.
