I’m choosing a color palette for our new home and very open to some pretty rich, moody, bold, colors…this one doesn’t make the cut to me. I’m looking for more warmth and yeah…this color just reminds me of a stodgy room filled with a porcelain doll collection. Not sure why. Overall I prefer rich warm colors over grayed colors. Maybe that’s it.
I can see where the hate is coming from since it does remind me of mauve, but i have to say i like it! It's different. I would use it sparingly with steam and charmeuse with some deep brown wood furniture and wedgewood gray accents to break it up. I think it would look pretty in my daughters' room. Thanks!
I almost painted my bedroom this colour about 25 years ago. My tendency to chat messed up the paint guy though, so I lived with a pink for a decade or so. 😮 . Don’t hate this palette.
I havent been excited about their coty for the last 4 years! Although BM is my go to, and their pallettes are amazing. I just used amazon soil with sandlot gray, ans its so beautiful
Where is the cinnamon? As it appears on my monitor it almost looks purple. I dunno...I don't think I like any take on mauve. Causing me 80s Laura Ashley flashbacks. Ugh.
I am an elder millennial and I just can't get past how it reminds me of everyone's bathroom in the 90s.
ALSO the name. Where's the cinnamon? I could see calling it Regrettable Grape. I wonder how it's selling?
Because it looks like mauve gave birth to a shade of mud.
Yes! I was thinking it's a depressing mauve.
Mud Mauvine?
😹
Because it looks like a contusion. Could've been called, "Fading Bruise". Charmeuse is even worse? Ewww? But thanks for another fun video!
Don’t hate on my Charmeuse!! 😍😍 also love the use of contusion haha
This is hilarious 🤣 now I can't unsee it

Puce
I mean…. It’s like a kids barfed and or pooped grape juice and Pepto-Bismol.
Love this color in moderation.
Maybe because it's the color of a day-old bruise?
The bruise comparison makes a lot of sense
I think in the right place it could be nice, but not at my house.

We hate it because it’s ugly. That’s why.
💀
😂
It's more of a 90s color than the 80s
No, just no......
‘Cause it’s fugly!
I’ve had my bedroom painted Bonne Nuit for many years. It’s a deeper more plummy less mauve color. I think Cinnamon Slate is too weak and old lady.
It looks like the mauve of the 1980s. Sorry.
Wedgewood Gray and Steam for the win. The other colors remind me of frumpy, frou-frou ‘80’s decor. Sorry!
Because it's ugly. Sorry.
A pretentious version of dusty rose.
