Hi Chris! I have solved the problem by adjusting the SG MOTOR SLIDE PART (no 11 in the service manual) which has two parts: a dc motor and a wheel. I pushed the wheel 2 mm apart form the motor and the mechanism started to work fine. The wheel had a section that was worn out. Hope this trick will do good to others.
