When I was in jr and high school, I used to get made fun of for “overdressing” or just dressing “too fancy”. I already had low self esteem as it was, so when I started college I started dressing more casual like everyone else but I hated it. Now as an adult adult lol, I dress just like 7 year old, 12, 15, 18 year old me wished she’d dress. I’m remembered for my outfits and honestly wearing more black now than I used to gives me confidence. I love how you incorporate both dressy and casual. Gives me inspiration 😊🖤
Love how you you put outfits together. At 65 I don’t care what anyone thinks of how I dress. I know if it makes me happy that’s all that counts

In my early 20’s I was getting into fashion and styling. I would get teased for styling in unconventional ways at the time, only for a decade or two later where it is now considered hip & trendy rather than avant garde and a big no no for daily wear. It maybe in higher society one would get judged for formal attire no no’s rather than casual as they take it as an affront and just gauche. I do think those narrow minded comments are just mean spirited and a hindrance to one’s creativity. Keep up the good work.

I love love your fashion and the way you’re styling items. I’m going to Japan for 2 weeks mid May to end of June and I’m picking up items from Uniqlo so that I can mix and match items without over packing and style for spring weather, days where it’ll rain and on days where it’ll maybe warm up mid day. I’d love if you could do another video of current items available in store 🤞. A lot of the items you did in previous videos are sold out 😢 or do you have any idea of outfits I could put together with what’s available aka best sellers

I love your style. I'm curious, what laundry detergent would you recommend? I wish more high-fashion creators talked about garment care, especially with the investment being made. I would love to hear your take on this!
I love this question! I take laundry care very seriously but I’m sure that doesn’t surprise you lol. I use the unscented detergent from Kirkland (Costco’s house brand). I watch a few laundry channels on UA-cam and this one comes highly rated. Before that I was using Method or Seventh Generation. I hear Persil is great, but I have yet to try it for myself. For wool, cashmere and silk, I used a brand called Soak that’s available on Amazon - also unscented. For the most part I hang my clothes to dry, especially if it’s synthetic fabrics. Anything that goes in the dryer will go in with wool dryer balls - never dryer sheets. They’re a waste of money and most of them contain palm oils which are terrible for the environment. For stains I use the Oxiclean Baby multipurpose stain remover - it gets everything out from chocolate, to red wine, berry stains and even coffee. But the trick is to treat the stain right away and not let it sit for too long. Finally I’ll add a scoop of Oxiclean to my whites and to my gym clothes as a laundry booster. Hope this helps!

Dryer balls are the best-I made the switch about a year ago and haven't looked back at dryer sheets since. Are there any laundry channels you watch worth sharing?
