Bowers & Wilkins P3 Hi-Fi On-Ear Headphones Review

Quick review of the Bowers & Wilkins P3 Hi-Fi On-Ear Headphones.
A lower-priced follow-on offering to the P5 and P7 headphones from B&W, these are really great lightweight corded on-ear headphones, excellent sound quality with very detailed midrange and highs. Beautiful design and lightweight construction makes them very comfortable and the removable and replaceable ear pads and cables demonstrate the excellent attention to detail and subtle design.
Hard case is great for travel. Would be nice if the cable attached to one side rather than both but this should be expected for headphones in this price range.
Don't expect overwhelming bass, they're not tuned for that, and it's hard to achieve it with on-ear headphones. Also, noise isolation is limited.
Overall, these are nice daily wearers if you are okay with your hair getting a little messy, value the design cues, enjoy the sonic profile and can get your head around the premium price. I like them quite a bit and use them frequently.

i listened toothless today at Apple store they sound really good just the right base, I found solo 2 too heavy with too much foam around the head and too basy not balanced.
