I went to their concert in 1979 and mid 90's. In 1977 my high school sweetheart introduced me to Jethro Tull by playing Aqualung 8 track over and over in the school bus, lol. They are one of my fav band ever since.
It's interesting to hear how Ian's voice has lost the low end as he gets older, while the vast majority of classic rock singers have lost the high end. Not a criticism - it's just a normal part of life, really. His flute still ROARS though, and that'll never be silenced. Long live J-Tull.
Un des premiers groupe que j'ai découvert, j'avais 14-15 ans et je fumais mon premier joint de pot. C,est resté gravé dans ma mémoire comme parmi les meilleurs. Merci
This will be played in decades 2 come just as the classical music was revered jethro Tull will live on and on ! Habitual brilliance doesn't die ! Lifetime follower here and can't imagine not being around to worship this band !
I think this has more steam than the old versions. The studio version of this song is the only one on the Aqualung album that can rival later live versions though.
It's funny on how many that challenge the idea of god are banned..and so many that accept aren't.....it seems that if god were real...his existence would be obvious....
One of the best songs of Jethro Tull ever.-
So underrated as The best Fr9ntman ever. Saw him 17 times and they never disappoint. Rock on.
He has been my rock n roll hero ever since 1972
Mine, too

That takes some talent and skill to create a masterpiece...
The on-stage chemistry between Ian and Martin was always electric

I think that's because he has to use more of his "head voice" to hit the notes. Where before he could sing more from the chest.
@@Relayer6a Yep, maybe an early warning that he was loosing lung capacity due to his COPD …

You can't update that song. The original and early live versions are the best. Good though!

His existence is obvious. Read Romans 1 and 2 for starters
As for God’s existence, everyone is guessing.
Faith = belief in the unknowable.
It’s that simple.
Não deveria fazer as caretas que faz.
Fica parecendo uma coisa forçada.
Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull and Black Sabbath. ALL other 70s bands are inferior.
