    I love your tutorials. I’m a beginner. Watching your video and learning the 3D sculpture is my favorite hobby now. Thank you for teaching on UA-cam.

    Спасибо за туториал!
    Это было восхитительно!
    Но я не поняла, почему мы сделали глаз таким сложным? Можно было сделать просто сплющенный шар.
    Покраску щечек я не смогла сделать как в Вашем примере, и по этому я воспользовалась инструментом "маска": выделила овалом места покраски, инвестировала и покрасила сплошным. И растушевала как обычно.
    Спасибо большое Вам и милому художнику за реф!

    I love your tutorials! been working my way through them to learn the program when I can.
    For this one, I am stuck on his little feet. When I got to mirror the first one it didn't create a second one. Can someone help?

    • @drugfreedave
      @drugfreedave  23 дні тому

      The changed the mirror settings so it’s all much more complicated now unfortunately. If you have the one foot, go to the symmetry menu and go down to mirror, that should work. It’ll probably say”failed to create mirror blah blah” but just hit ok and it should work 👍🏾

    How come your view thing in the top right is a cube? Mine is a sphere and it won't let me rotate around like you did at 36:20

    • @drugfreedave
      @drugfreedave  Рік тому

      Are you in the latest version of nomad? Also check the snap cube settings, you may be able to change it to more cubish shape!

      @@drugfreedavefound the reason! Rotation was in turntable mode not trackball

    Do you have your finished models for sale anywhere? For 3d Printing?

  • @xeannnnnnnnnn

    im wondering does it affect the proportions or other things when sculpting in orthographic instead of perspective(default) view?

    • @drugfreedave
      @drugfreedave  Рік тому

      Yes, if you’re working on something, part of it will look bigger or smaller, so you’ll be adjusting according to perspective distortion which will keep changing as you move the model. Best to model first then allow the lens (which is how we normally see perspective due to our eyes) do the natural perspective work. Sometimes however, you may have to adjust things according to your render image… like mickeys ears for example. To get the classic 2D appearance, I had to move one ear into place just for the render 👍🏾

    • @drugfreedave
      @drugfreedave  Рік тому

      So yeah, orthographic is better because your proportions won’t look distorted*

    how come when i mirror it, my mirror doesnt go adjacent left right instead it mirrors top to bottom, like the knot for the string hat

    • @drugfreedave
      @drugfreedave  Місяць тому

      Check the symmetry menu, you're probably on the Green Y. Red X is usually left and right and it has to be set to world if it's in the middle of the canvas.

    what does subdivide and multi - res do?

  • @Neonlotus___
    @Neonlotus___ Рік тому +1

    Hello! When i delete the default sphere and then i add a new one it is not as smooth as the first one, but in your video when you add the second sphere it looks smooth like the first one, why is this ?

    • @Neonlotus___
      @Neonlotus___ Рік тому +1

      Nvm i just figured out, just had to toggle the smooth shading option 😅

    • @drugfreedave
      @drugfreedave  Рік тому

      It may not be possible on mobile? I sometimes minimize the tools so it’s just a straight row down the side of the screen. That may be the only option on the smaller screen 👍🏾

    Why do you decimate?

    • @drugfreedave
      @drugfreedave  Рік тому

      You can lower the poly count of a mesh. Usually you won’t notice until you decimate too much and the mesh starts to deform little by little 👍🏾
