Very nice. My guitar really does not like dropping the E string to C. It's a fine line to get the C tuned exactly right. Any advice on this? Would heavier gauge strings help?
@@henrydunn9420 Hi, I use an electronic tuner. I find if I pluck the open "C" the needle can swing between flat and sharp and the slightest turn of the tuning peg, can throw me up or down a step. Very temperamental. Both of my acoustics do this, although one is not quite as bad as the other. I'm going to try heavier strings and see if it helps. Cheers.
@@HoudaMan have you tried a different tuner. i have 3 tuners, 2 are the cheap little round type that i don’t trust and one is a combo tuner/capo that eats batteries but i trust it. unfortunately, the company that built it has gone out of business but it works great and it eliminates one thing in mr guitar case. had it for about 5 years
@@HoudaMan you need a tuner that shows chromatic pitch and I find that what you can do is put your tuner to the monitor when he plays a chord, and try to match what the tuner picks up from the video to your guitar. Sometimes he says a chord and it shows up differently on the tuner. I use a square tuner that doesn't clip on to the body and has a metronome on it. A small basic clip on probably wont be able to accurately show you those pitches.
Please don't ever stop playing...that was amazing.
Wow, what an absolutely amazing cover. Moving this to the top of my to-learn list.
It's always a pleasure hear you play, kelly. Please never stop playing
