Great job ! I definitely prefer when you don't hit the top of your guitar and don't use the drum effect.
Of course, i have to add that hiring you in a pub/bar is amazing when you use the drum effect ( One band on stage and one guy to pay :))) )
I have to say that the drum effects make the sound more powerful so that in some of his arrangements you have the feeling you aren't hearing just one guitar but a whole band... Without the effects it sounds a bit thin
now do it without a capo

Emmett Carpenter - the song is in D minor, so a capo at the 5th fret makes sense to me
That is true but you can play most songs you see with a capo on without it but of course a capo does make it easier and why make playing guitar harder?
