    The Guard quickly Spoted the parent and the Child were Struggling in the Crowd and call the parents forward, leaned slightly and Smiled and asked the Special Child to Touch the Horse! You Don't see this often. Welldone Guard

    • @taxicamel
      @taxicamel 3 місяці тому +3

      Agreed ...and "the grabbers were back" is true ...but they were mostly being respectful of the horse and all very much appreciating and enjoying the experience.....BUT ....one can easily identify that the "flood gates" can easily open when trying to accommodate anyone. A tricky business dealing with an unknown crowd, particularly when there are token ignorant ones who think the world turns around them.

      At 5:27, right after the young man, I was shocked to see the guard letting someone FEED his horse! That sugar cube could have been laced with anything. I can easily imagine an American teen thinking it would be hilarious to watch a horse freaking on LSD or Fentanyl.
      I'm losing a lot of respect for the negligent and uncaring soldiers and cops who allow things like this and the woman who slapped a horse THREE TIMES and was allowed to just walk off. TERRIBLE disrespect to the horses . 😡 🤬 🤮

    • @SaftonYT
      @SaftonYT Рік тому +1

      @@jalyc The woman didn't feed the horse anything. She had an empty palm, the horse just assumed it had food in it because that's what it associates with that gesture. I would presume the Guards don't allow randos to feed their horses *anything*.
      The woman who slapped at the horse in question was immediately reprimanded by the guard and walked away as I recall and afterward the armed police came over to investigate the situation. They likely didn't feel it needed to escalate beyond that.

    Seems like this specific guard always shows kindness and curtesy to those who need it. Even though some of them don't thank him on the video, either by words or perhaps a nod or a wave, you can tell it has made an impact on them.

    Truly a touching moment, for the Guard to allow the family and the child to experience touching the horse in a very sacred position. And for the parents to sign thank you, very moving. As the mother of a disabled girl in wheelchair, it was a lovely that the guard asked them forward through such a very busy summer holiday crowd, it’s nice to feel included. Thank you for your service!

    What a wonderful moment, I sit here with tears in my eyes, you are a credit to your regiment. All you lads ladies and of course the beautiful horses that as yourselves always immaculately turned out.. I know a lot of polishing is done! Including the horse's hooves oiled. It's watching yourselves that makes me proud to be British.. thankyou ♥️

    What a beautiful gesture by the Guardsmen taking notice of the family & letting their son experience the touch of a horse. Also how appreciative the family was.
    By far 1 of the most beautiful acts of kindness I have seen.

    Well done, trooper and your mount, of course. You showed compassion and an understanding that all people are not the same. I think that young man will remember that moment for a long time.
