Same here! We have to remember the size of the US compared to the UK...we probably have a lot more variance in slang in different regions of the US.

Most of that slang is Black American Slang.

I'm from Florida where we have people from every state and every country living and visiting here and I've never heard any of these so-called American slang words..I have heard and am familiar with some of the British slang words though.
I haven't heard any of the American slang that she said unless i live under a rock. ( which i don't )

Gina Bégin We have some pretty weird slang! Like the most commonly known phrase "What's the craic(pronounced crack)?" basically meaning 'What's up?' :D then there's phrases like like "Wind your neck in/ Wise up" which means 'Stop being silly/stupid' etc :D
