    Don't sleep on Kuhl brand. You're missing out if you think Arcteryx is the best out there for everything.

      Half the price too. I recently started replacing my pants with kuhl.

      I have found kuhl pants and shorts to pill way too easily. Not even from off piste brush work. Plus, beware of the pairs with the snap closure on front. The buttons become weak and will pop open from just sitting down. And no, it’s not bc I’m fat.

    Do u think these pants would work with a base layer for colder months say around 0-5C?

    About the same price as the fjallraven I just bought. If I ever manage to destroy those I’ll try these 😂

    Hiho, are the pants still called Gamma LT (Goretex standard?) or are they 'now' very, very similar to the Beta LT (also standard Goterex)?^^

    • @dawnnpark
      @dawnnpark  Рік тому

      These are now the GAMMAS! Not the LT :)

    • @Joshi04.
      @Joshi04. Рік тому

      The Gammas never had gore tex in them btw, the gammas are a wind resistant softshell instead of a waterproof hardshell. Don't buy these if you're hoping for maximum waterproofing. Though the gammas are fairly water resistant, they won't be able to block torrential rain or similar.

    They run between 130 to 180 USD each. There’s a sucker born everyday…she’s not even a hard core hiker…smh. Probably wants the company to send her a pair for free thru TikTok or whatever…

    • @ZxAMobile
      @ZxAMobile Рік тому +6

      Lol 130-180 is CHEAP. 😂 no their $600 pants I think are pretty expensive although I do understand it. What people like you fail to realize is if you are using cheaper stuff you are going to pay for it in the long run through headache and annoyance as well as actual physical cash you will actually spend more buying cheaper lower quality junk, and replacing it every 1-2 years.

      What is "hardcore hiker"? You sound a bit jealous that you aren't able to afford these pants. I own these pants and I 100% agree with what she said. The quality of them are what justifies the price

    • @serrielu8025

      Get what you pay for generally speaking. Arcteryx…you’re not buying a name like you would with a Northface, Nike or UA, Patagonia, etc… you’re buying full on high quality. I’ve had arcteryx tech products that’s 15 yrs old and been tried and proven through anything you’ll throw at them. Thru backpacking, climbing, skiing, bushwhacking, Briar hunting, surf angling, foraging, hot cold wet dry, Arcteryx products are champions of fit, function and durability any brand I’ve ever ever tried. NF, Stio, Mamutt, Black Diamond, Patagonia, REI,, OR, Mountain Hardw, RVRC, Duck Head, Fjallraven, Kuhl, Colombia……,

      @@serrielu8025 All these brands you've listed have some insanely well-made and durable pieces, just gotta look for them, they're also a few times less expensive than Arc stuff. But thing is none of them is premium, eveno tho Fjall and TNF and prob other brands have premium segment (TNF Summit Series for example), while Arc is a premium high-end company, they MUST be one of the best. But since it was sold to ANTA, the quality of a lot of products went downhill, that's what people been saying. A lot switched to NORRONA. What you got for skiing from Acteryx tho?
