Arc'teryx Gamma Pants Review (Lightweight Softshell Pants for Outdoor Enthusiasts)
Welcome to Ultimate Survival Gear! Today, I have another Arc'teryx review for everyone, and this time it is Arc'teryx Gamma review.
Here are some specs and features of these Arc'teryx pants:
Materials: Fortius™ DW 2.0 - 88% Nylon, 12% Elastane - bluesign Approved Material
Adjustable low-profile webbing waistbelt
Front fly with snap closure
Two hand pockets with zippers
Thigh pocket sits just below a climbing harness
Articulated patterning for unrestricted mobility
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treated
Laminated cuffs
Adjustable pant cuff drawcord
Activity: Hiking / Trekking / Rock Climbing / Alpine Climbing
Worth mentioning here is that these pants used to be Arc'teryx Gamma LT pants, but because of the popularity they were rebranded to main Gamma line up.
So, if you are looking for lightweight climbing pants that are durable, stretchy enough for some funky moves on the wall, oh yes, let's not forget, top of the line, designed for performance, these Arc'teryx climbing pants are definitely worth consideration. Besides climbing, I have used these pants for trail running, hiking, and even for a whole week of studio session with my band.
Ask yourself a question, are there really softshell climbing pants that you could wear straight from the wall to a wedding? Yes, yes indeed there are, and they are called Arcteryx Gamma.
So, hopefully you found this review helpful! Thanks for watching, God bless!
Hey quick question. Would you say these are good for only colder weather climbing? Would they be too warm for summer climbing?
I haven't had a chance to climb in these in the summer yet, but I suspect they would be on the hotter side since they are not as breathable, might be a bit problematic especially in more humid areas, unless you are doing some summer alpine climbing. I just got Salewa Lavaredo they are a lot more breathable so should be good for the summer, but we shall see!
Yoo a question is they good to use inside too? Because i climb inside and need some new pants. And i need new pants for trail running and mtb and wanted to combined everything in 1 so is they good to use inside too?
Between the three activities, yea, I'd say great choice, plus you'll have a quality pant for cold weather too with some merino base.
