      You will also find the opposite as mentioned in this video with Charlotte Kirk, though it's never discussed. Actresses intentionally initiating sexual favors to gain parts.
      If the Charlotte Kirk scandal is mentioned here, you don't have to wonder if there are other cases like hers. Some of them have little or no talent, but are eye candy who get good roles. Before "me too" we saw a LOT of untalented actresses in roles as they bad acted across the screen, both big and small, to have probably done so. What's hilarious is that loads of money are spent on these movies and series with these beautiful yet horrible actresses, and the movie tanks. And if they still can't make it, due to their bad acting skills, they later accuse the producer when it was THEY who initiated it, lol. Dont get me wrong. Weinstein and others like him are definite monsters. But to say that none of the actresses in other cases didn't initiate it, would be ludicrous.

    Warner's was the only studio to deal with urban problems and was anti-Nazi ahead of the rest of the studios. During the war, the state department asked if they could make a pro-Soviet film and they put it together in a few months. "Mission to Moscow" told a story of how the Russian government was really in favor of it's citizens. After the war anyone connected with that movie was labelled a communist and had to explain their actions.

    How could you forget Busby Berkeley? In September of 1935, at the height of his fame at Warner's organizing all those splashy musical numbers, he was responsible for an auto accident that killed two people. Injured and wheeled into court on a stretcher, he was accused of drunk driving, but his first two trials for second degree murder ended in hung juries, and in the third, he was acquitted.

    Nothing about Hollywood surprises me. Especially in the early years of that Era. The way women were treated even back then was deplorable. And the women it seemed had no voice or real power.Not much has changed. In Hollywood.

    • @redneckbarbie
      @redneckbarbie 3 роки тому +2

      Not much has changed? Yeah that's why women are some of the highest-paid in the film and television industry! That's why a black woman is a multi-billionaire! Give me a break! Other than some really disgusting perverts, which people have let slide for years, including women, there's not much that is more prevalent than women holding all the power and not only the music industry but also the film and television industry. And as far as those men and women, yes women do it too, that our sexual predators in Hollywood? Isn't it funny that none of these so-called feminists actresses said a damned word until stories broke, and then all of the sudden they were against it from the beginning, but they were interesting Lee enough quiet and willing to lay on their back or keep their mouth shut to climb to the top.
