- The geopolitical landscape has recently undergone a significant transformation, ushering in an era characterised by major shifts in global power dynamics. Traditional geopolitical frameworks are being challenged and reshaped by a confluence of factors ranging from the growing US-China rivalry, Russia’s War Against Ukraine, and the shifting political dynamics in the Middle East.
The rise of new global players, notably China’s ascendancy as a formidable economic and technological force, has introduced novel dimensions of competition and cooperation. Amidst this backdrop, non-traditional security challenges like cybersecurity threats and climate change are transcending geographical boundaries, underscoring the need for fresh modes of collaboration.
This session provides an in-depth analysis of the evolving global geopolitical landscape. Focusing on the dynamics of rivalries and re-alignments, the session examines the trends and challenges changing the 21st-century geopolitical order. The discussion will shed light on the implications of these changes for regional stability and explore opportunities for fostering alliances and cooperation to address the complex global challenges of the new century.

Wonderful panel.
Thank you.
The fact that everyone on the panel speaks English and not Mandarin is quite revealing
What is your point?
