MUGEN Release: Donald Duck by Warner AI Patch

  • Today I'm releasing an AI Patch requested by 6Samama9. This patch is for Warner's Donald Duck. A note about the release is to support english voice patches, I made it so that the custom states (Like the Guarding and Walking states) are all in the CMD file.

    AI Description:
    Donald is a pretty basic character to understand.
    Most of his normals aside from a select few have little to no use.
    But the normals that are good are VERY good.
    A single Stand Light Punch can take away most of your health
    since it has very little knockback. and while Stand Medium Punch
    is pretty slow, it's an essential for Donald's Bat confirms.
    Crouching Heavy Punch while slow, pancakes Donald a bunch and has a lot of range.
    Crouching Light Punch is similar to KFM's version which makes it really good and an easy setup into stand Light Punch combos.
    Donald's Specials and hypers are where things get really interesting.
    Gun is EXTREMELY overpowered, so I didn't want to just have donald spam the hell out of it while zoning.
    So basically, Donald will sometimes use it at far distances.
    Though the main thing the AI uses it for is to make his moves safer on block.
    The Bat Special is a pontent tool in his combos, being able to confirm into it after a Standing Medium Punch
    once the move hits Donald can Follow up with the second hit of Crouching heavy kick.
    If the Second hit of crouch heavy kick connects, donald can hit another bat special, or his Rage Hyper
    Donald's Lunge move is also pretty interesting and is used quite a bit when he has the meter to use it.
    Donald only uses this when it's safe to do so and won't use it if the enemy has a projectile out.
    The move is incredibly safe and can lead into a normal for one of Donald's combos.
    The broom special is pretty niche without meter, but when Donald does have meter, he uses this as a mix-up option.
    I'll give a brief explanation on the properties of the broom special:
    If the move hits, it can cancel into either of his hypers.
    After the first Attack Donald goes up into the air, BUT his state type doesn't change and his position remains at 0
    That means that most AIs will tend to think that Donald is still on the ground and will go for a normal attack.
    If Donald has Meter he can easily punish this with his Rage Hyper which has a lot of invincibility
    This move is basically an easy confirm into a hyper and a move that messes with the AI of other characters
    Onto Hypers both are pretty simple but have unique properties:
    His rage hyper has a lot of inincibility frames which Donald abuses a ton.
    The issue however is that this move tends to cross up a LOT so the way the AI adapts to this
    is that it only uses it as specific distances.
    Donald's Kingdom Hearts styled super is not the greatest since it seems that it was only intended to be used on Donald Duck himself.
    Since it can flat out be unsafe on hit due to the years of endlag.
    However, the move does do decent damage and has some easy confirms into it.
    Most common ones is after the final hit of the rage hyper (Sorta Similar to Joe Swanson's confirm into his terminator hyper) and if the broom special hits. It's a simple confirm into one of his hypers depending on the spacing
