It said there is a planned maintenance
The FAFSA has been released under a "Soft Launch" period which means it will be going under maintenance regularly. You should still be able to fill it out and submit when it's still up!

Yes, the only information we have is that the FAFSA will be released BY December 31st.

What happens when your parents don't have a SSN? Can i still fill it out even if my parents don't sign it electronically
You'll have to make your parents sign a paper form that you can download at the end of your application saying that they dont have a social security and send it through USPS. Good luck!
For this years FAFSA even if your parents don't have a SSN they will still be able to proceed to help complete the FAFSA and they will be able to create an FSA ID without an SSN to complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA. They will just need a FSA ID which can be created at studentaid.gov/
