Nice homage. I think recording quality suffered and would've rather Miley keep it Mickey throughout. Miley could do a better version, I'm sure, but it was cool for her to cover it. Despite some of Miley's bizarre past song/style choices, she has a ton of creativity and talent, and today she's better than ever. But imo, this is not one of her better performances. Maybe millennials might like this version, but your original classic has much more power and badass sass -- it's hard to beat! Miley's performance here could also use some good dancers ;-)

It probably sounded better live. The mix is not real good here. I like Miley.. I think she's one of the more creative younger people but she has a very low voice for a female singer. Toni, your dancing and performance will never be matched. As a matter of fact, I heard it in my car the other day and was blown away by how powerful and engaging the drumbeat is when it comes through the speakers.
