Skjold-class corvette
Edit
Skjold-class corvettes (skjold means "shield" in Norwegian) are a class of six light, superfast, stealth missile corvettes in service with the Royal Norwegian Navy. The boats were formerly classed as MTBs (motor torpedo boats) but, from 2009, the Royal Norwegian Navy has described them as corvettes (korvett) because their seaworthiness is seen as comparable to corvettes, and because they do not carry torpedoes. They were built at the Umoe Mandal yard. With a maximum speed of 60 knots (110 km/h), the Skjold-class corvettes were the fastest combat ships afloat at the time of their introduction.[4]

Out of the list unfortunately :( it is a very good (and freaking small) ship but unfortunately it didn't make it ! It's present in the old list tough if you want to check it as well 😉
Oh ok
I agree. Fair enough its an older and much lighter clas ship with no helicopter capabilities but still what i recon as one of the better ones in terms of speed, stealth manuverability and agility. ua-cam.com/video/FYgBy7S-T_g/v-deo.html
Why are the Russian ships so cheap and no Chinese ones in the list??
Quality matters.
the new swedish corvette is fire
the best is Sa,ar 6 israel. american independence is the wickest corvette
What a surprise ... you put the crappy russian rustbuckets in top .. although they are the slowest, least powerful armament and also most likely to be sunk by any direct hit dude to cheap armour and high radar silouette.
I also put the specifications and, following them, it doesn't seam as you say :/ In this case what do you think it would be better as first spot and why?
Yeah, no. This is obviously very biased . The Russian corvettes are no where near top 10, they’re like sitting ducks, one missile and it’s over while the visby is like an invincible jetski but armed to its teeth.
Visby lacks any SAMs, inferior and less modern radar, has inferior surface to surface missiles, has about half the range of the Gremyashchiy and lacks a helicopter hangar, it is far less capable than the Gremyashchiy. Cope harder.
How can Freedom get the fourth spot? As after only a few years the entire class has been decommisioned becaused mechanical and operational failures? Its story so far is a giant fiasco as it has failed to deliver what was planned, as they did not turn out as flexible as they were supposed to be and finallly expensive to operate.
The video is a bit old and bases on specs. If I ever decide to update it, I'll surely change many things here and there
You lost credibility when you listed both American littoral class shops! They are huge epic wastes of money and are so useless that the US can not even give them away! So your list loses tremendous credibility !!
Well, it's easier to talk years later after more informations have been released 🤷🏻♂️
The speaker mispronouncing everything unable to understand
You can read everything on screen too👍
I like how the thumbnail is an Independence Class Littoral Combat Ship, not a corvette.
Well lcs are corvette
Do all countries producing sell those to other countries?
Nope! Just some but usually older decommissioned ships!
Tuyêt Vời Lắm Nghe Rất Hiện Đại
20380 aka steregushchiy class have no capabilities in launching any Kalibr family missiles as well as 20385 aka Gremyashchiy class is unable to launch Kh-35 even tho they are inferior.
So missiles capabilities are like this:
20380 - 2x4 Kh-35 + 12 Redut SAM cells
20385 - 1x8 3S14 VLS for Kalibr family and P800/Zircon missiles + 2x8 Redut SAM cells
thanks for the info! always appreciated
you forgot the DOHA class corvettes built by Fincantieri for the Qatari navy
I didn't! As written in the first seconds of the video here you can find only active ships! The first DOHA ship SHOULD enter into service in 2021 maybe :)
There are way better class like india's veer class malaysia laksamana class france's gowind class
oh I forgot about the veer class! About the gowind the frigate are very good (and present in the frigate list) while the corvettes they not seem so good checking the specs
You have forgotten the Skjold Class
Out of the list unfortunately :( is a very good (and freaking small) ship but unfortunately it didn't make it ! Is present in the old list tough!
@@DarthDesigner i would actually have put it in the top. OK, it has no room for choppers, but it has some insane specs. Heavily armed, has high speed, it's a Stealth vessel with a radar warning system, and if it should be detected by a radar, it twist its turbines, making ghe ship go from 60 to zero knot in 2 ship lenghts. On top of it they are connected to the costal rangeres SB90 and their drones and hellfire systems.
I understand your point of view. To me, especially because of the dimensions, is less versatile and more compatibile to the patrol boat category compared to corvettes. The lack of an helicopter may not seem a big problem but actually for this category is an important lack in terms of submarine detection and warfare for example. Of course this is only my opinion and it's good to have different points of view on the argument. I'm not saying is a bad ship or similar, i want this to be clear :)
@@DarthDesigner i know and I agree.
I am unsure about a lot of the specs though a they are secret, and that we actually don't sell them out to others because of it (it is our F22). I suOect that it has both active and passive sonar for that use, though that and that our fregattes (Fridtjof Nansen Class) has chopper hangars/helipad. I would also suspect that the Majarata would know the exact position of any sub anyway 😂
BTW, is that something that you might make a video about, that is Survailence ships, like the Majarata?
Thanks a lot brother
Please make videos abaut top 10

For other ships with the same name, see USS Freedom.
USS Freedom (LCS-1) is the lead ship of the Freedom-class littoral combat ship for the United States Navy. She is the third vessel to be so named after the concept of freedom. She is the design competitor produced by the Lockheed Martin consortium, in competition with the General Dynamics-designed USS Independence. She was officially accepted by the Supervisor of Shipbuilding Gulf Coast, on behalf of the US Navy, from the Lockheed Martin/Marinette Marine/Gibbs and Cox team, in Marinette, Wisconsin, on 18 September 2008.[5]

She is designed for a variety of missions in shallow waters, minesweeping and humanitarian relief, capable against submarines and small ships, but not designed to take on large warships. The ship is a semi-planing monohull design capable of over 40 knots (74 km/h; 46 mph).[6]
Commissioned in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on 8 November 2008, Freedom is home-ported in San Diego,[2] and assigned to Littoral Combat Ship Squadron One.[7]
On 20 June 2020, the US Navy announced that they would be taking Freedom out of commission in March 2021, and placing her, along with Independence, Fort Worth, and Coronado in reserve.[8][9] She is scheduled to be decommissioned 30 September 2021.[10]
