Yes , more people voted for tRump than had previously voted for Obama , But more people voted for Biden than for tRump in 2020 . Trump legitimately lost the 2020 election and then threw temper tantrums over that. Then tried to get various government officials to overturn results . Then encouraged open rebellion as against the duly elected government and that’s what got him silenced on the internet. Trump is guilty of treason .

My personal pandemic pros: I had steady income. I didn’t lose my job, I was able to pay the basic bills. Cons: My mental and physical health are worse than they’ve ever been. I took 4 pay cuts and can barely keep myself afloat. I’m struggling to understand why I need to continue to get up every day. My income has gotten so tight (while my employer used the pandemic to both justify raising rates for our clients while also cutting pay to all employees) that the smallest unanticipated bill wrecks me. I am so exhausted.

Sorry dude...it's been a nightmare for me, too, even though I as well at least have the basics covered. I was unemployed for the summer but managed to get back pay unemployment for most of it (although I missed out on the best pandemic bonus pay). My cat got cancer, my apartment flooded, and the year-plus of isolation (I essentially live alone) has been killing my soul. We just have to hang in there...better times are ahead! They have to be!

Benedict Arnold gets kind of a bad rap. He kept doing awesome shit during the revolution, but every time someone else would steal all the credit, so he eventually got pissed and switched sides. But it's kinda understandable lol, I feel a little bad for the guy.

Had he actually taken responsibility for the damage he helped cause then you could make an actual case for giving him credit, but no, he didn't take responsibility, he didn't secure as much vaccine as we needed, and he told pfizer to fuck off when given the chance to work with them with the vaccine.

Two years ago, I could believe that our President would put out a statement like that. Idiocy was normalized. But today, Trump seems so far removed, that that statement only comes across as bizarre.

I'd rather get a shot from a veterinarian than a dentist or MD. They give multiple shots every day to many species of animals. Many of which are trying to bite or scratch them.

I knew less than two weeks into this pandemic that we were going to be in this for the long haul.
People not wearing masks. Making zero effort to distance. The callous disregard for everyone but themselves. I called a 1 year anniversary coming eventually before we’d even passed the 1 month mark.
People are fucking awful. They’ve brought this on themselves, and they’ve forced it on everyone else.
