Any weight on the forehead is, over a few minutes, annoying. Better to put it on a hardhat. Even better, I put it around my neck like a loose necklace and pivot it upward. Then the weight is not a problem.
Hello sir. From my observation, Both leds turbo lasts about 30secs then it steps down to high. When I try high mode (not turn on before), high steps down a little but still brighter than med. I turned it on for 5 minutes, not too hot to hold, still very bright. My outside temperature here is 30°c. If you turn on turbo, wait until it steps down to high, turn off and then turn on the high mode again. High here steps down faster due to the heat caused by the previous turbo. Nice review. I agree about the weight, 100g + weight of 21700 is too much for a headlamp. I wonder why they made the tube walls so thick and asymmetrical (3:44). LH351D wouldn't be my first choice for flood anymore, something with better tint like Nichia 519A would make more sense I think.

Im wearing a acebeam h16 on my head now and i need way way longer runtimes and output, for the forest mainly. I also want a tac light that will stop a dog in their tracks lol my OCD wont allow me to be decisive, its unreal, i deal with cokd weather too, its 15 degrees out now lol

I do have a question: will this light run any modes without a battery inserted. I recently had a Sofirn HS10 (brave little light!) and it will run all modes with no battery and plugged into USB-C cable. You could mount it on bicycle handlebars with rubber bands, ive got a special way i do this with your standard torch, it works perfectly, better than a proprietary mount because you can twist the light with the rubberbands of need be and it works as a suspension, just make sure to put a pad under the light, one could use strong velco but i prefer latex bands, my waters threatening to freeze even though its trickling steady lol i want a torch that can warm my hands while staying lit a long time
About weight. Keep it mind that amount of light is proportional to weight. Because U need larger power source, larger heatsink, larger beam. That's it.

It needs mass, for cooling. Otherwise it will heat up way quickly even on 1350 Lm and than step down with power.
