video would be even better if you included TAG at the end. And aren't Bøyg Soldiers classified as super heavy infantry and not only heavy infantry. They look like that they are in between HI and a TAG

in the game they have many.. many shortcomings.. they are the long range shooting faction, so they have that over any other faction..
low willpower, so not good at hacking/countering compared to other factions ( Nomads are better)
no real smokescreen chuggers, warband units or direct templates to toss around and they are not so good in close combat ( except the knights/military orders).
not that they are bad.. absolutly not, they fit in very nice and have their drawbacks^^
@@corvusferox2869 I know but I just dislike the dominance they seem to have in the lore. they are well balanced in the game and I never had any problems like feeling they were overpowered when I was defeated by them or like there was nothing I could have done. just their lore is so uninteresting and makes the other factions in the game look bad. it's a shame they were writen this way
Well, I think you got the wrong point of view. The economical strength and political power doesn't matter in the fights because all the fight that you are playing are undercover, small scale skirmishes because there is officially peace between the factions and the factions want to keep it. So the fights have to happen without the public noticing or telling others. That's why the factions are on one level in the fights from a lorr perspective. When you need to arm 12 people and aren't able to use tanks or jets you don't need that much budget either. So lore wise it doesn't matter if your faction is Mary Sue or not. It hasn't anything to do with the fights. Besides the fights, so for the general lore, they are better in almost all aspects, yes. But that's good. Because it fits the Idea of the Universe and it's realistic. Infinity plays 175 years into the future, based on our current world. And tell me, do all countries have MAJOR drawbacks/ something they fall short at? No, if you put China, America, Germany, Japan, GB etc. into perspective to most other countries they are better at many, many things. Economy, school, wealth, health, military. And because a strong economy makes itself even stronger, it would be possible that a few hyperpowers are the result of it. And things like school, military, health etc. are mostly enhanced by money. But is any of todays "superpowers" perfect at everything, because that is what Mary Sue stands for? No. In the major aspects, they are but when you look closer, no countrie is. They have some dirty secrets , need the weak, are mainly driven by strong companies etc.... and now transfer that to PanO. And in addition to that, they are fighting a cold war with YuYing and we all know, that a Cold War doesn't make a Country necessarily better, and from a story perspective.. it is far from a "flat character" like Mary Sue. Just think of all the books and movies and documentaries about the cold war.
I think I portrayed my points well enough why PanO is far from a flat, clean Character. Although I have to say that I don't like PanO that much. Still they deserved that clarification. At first glance they are great, but they have their downsides too. And it's more realistic too. And I like that. I think it's really odd that the factions in other systems are all evened out and a large scale. So one is bad at knowledge but strong in economy and vice versa. That's just not how it is.
