- To be honest I was hoping she wouldn't find the fireplace full of ashes before we had a chance to clean it out because I knew it would turn into messy sensory play. We answered some of your questions and replied to your comments.

I love Priscilla's laugh. It just make me smile every time 💜
Summer and Priscilla start their own prank channel
😂😂😂👏👏👏I would sub to that
Me too!
YES!
Yesss
Made my day
Me too in a heartbeat😂😂😂😂
Pricilla's voice is filled with so much love, I can't get over it.
Wondered when Abbie would discover the fireplace. WHOA!!! LOL Summer, you and Priscilla, just nailed Isaiah!! Beautiful. It literally looked like his feet came off the ground, when you scared him. Both of you better be on guard. You know he will enlist Asa to get you both back. I think it is wonderful that the young ladies in Abbie's life, feel comfortable enough and love her so much, that they know they can just stop by and get their "Abbie fix". You all are truly blessed. Each of them are great role models for her.
I think we all need an Abbie fix each day Haha. I love watching the vlogs it's awesome how the share their lives with us x
@@alexthompson2952 have you checked out their friends, The Wee Family? That have a nonverbal 6 yr old that sings all day cute little songs made up of different sounds. They have a channel on here too. I have come to love watching both of them.
@FatheringAutism thank you for the love. I am glad Dunkin came thru. I think I sent the 50 emails telling them you were their best advertising exec and they should sponsor. Maybe that will come thru too. I have too much time on my hands. Lol
I am thinking about the same thing. Look out for Isaiah and Asa...you know they love a challenge. :)
@Gretchen Derfler
Yeah I have been watching them too :) I haven't been watching fathering autism for long probably a couple of months now and I saw that they spent some time with the wee family and subscribed to them pretty quickly too Haha x
as an autistic person, i also agree with that comment about how kids' rooms should be a safe place. i had a lot of meltdowns from 12-15, and idk how id have coped if i didnt have a space that was entirely mine and i could control. now i dont have my own bedroom (my beds in my grandparents living room lol) but i have my own bathroom which still works. you just need that space of your own to be able to calm down in
True, and I hope you will have your own bedroom (again) one day
I never had a safe place for myself ( 2 bedrooms, my parents and mine+ 2 simblings ), 1 bahroom, 1 living room and kitchen.
Basicly an appartment.
I had a lot of meltdowns and my safe place was the top of my bunk bed (modified) and under my sister's bed (bunk bed without an under bed).
I want my safe place but I sadly cant, my parents also disturb me every now and then.
@@hoshidraws8990 but u have to be grateful you have a bed and a roof over your head. I presume you're still in one piece, so you must have figured it out x
Awww ”make the world a softer landing place”😍😍
The lighting in the house is so beautiful!!! So much natural light I LOVE it
She has been a mess maker lately! We laugh but she also doesn’t live with us 🤣🤣
Jen Kalhorn yes! lol
I love the bond that Summer and Isaiah have.
The sound of the rain on your windscreen was sooooo relaxing. Bless Abbie, she's just enjoying her pool as any teenager would. I understand the concern but you guys have two amazing kids here, who you've kept alive all these years lol I'd feel so silly trying to give these guys parenting advice, but that's just me🤷♀️ love you guys!💖
this house was stunning to begin with, but then they go and decorate it and its even more fabulous. 10/10
My husband’s brother is like the person you are describing with Autism that you have to have in an isolated room. He has luckily become better with age and medicine changes, but I remember being at their house when he had a meltdown once. My husband’s whole family (without even talking about it) cornered him in the particular room to ride it out. That was the only way to protect him. He is 6’2-6’3 and strong, so he could really hurt himself. He also has epilepsy, so that adds another factor. Luckily the majority of the time he just wants to be sitting on a lawn mower or petting animals. Boy loves his construction machines/zoos! Once, while at the zoo, a giraffe (that was in an inside enclosure) stuck his head down and licked Luke’s face. Luke got so excited, and everyone else was tearing up. It’s like the giraffe knew he would appreciate that more than anyone else!
I love the framed iron decor that Priscilla is going to hang above the doorway. That is something that I would buy.
The new house is so beautiful! Congratulations!!!
You are beyond lucky to have and amazing daughter that has brought such amazing girls into your family that love her just as much you you all do! Beautiful group of people and family you all are.
❤
Fun story..., when my son was about three (recently diagnosed on the spectrum) I took him to my best friend’s mom’s house for the weekend. She has this huge fire place. That’s to say when he got acclimated to his temporary new surroundings he darted to the fire place. It was clean (so we thought) until he started yelling to hear his echo and a bunch of ash fell on him.
He has not been near a fireplace since.
Summer is awesome!!! I just love how well she fits in with the family.
I really hope y’all see my comment. I have been subscribed and watching your channel for a few months now and I have completely been educated on something that has warmed my heart. I have so much respect for every single one of you in your family including summer, because she’s like a sister to Abbie! My 15 year old cousin has autism, however it is mild. After discovering your families channel, I have gained so much from following your journey. I never comment on the channels I watch, but you guys are a very supportive family. Keep moving forward and I will be here following the whole way, because i adore you guys! Love y’all so much!!❤️
i love the daily vlogs, i watch them every day! y’all have so much fun together and i love that about y’all!!
So glad summer n Abbie other friend comes over, gives abbie time with them, n gives u guys a well needed brake. Luvin the house every video I see something new n luvin it.. Congrats!
love watching you guys move in and set up. thanks for making us all a part of it.
That's so great that Becca lives right down the road!
The clock is 01:00 at night here in Sweden and i could not go to bed until i watched your newest vlog ❤ You're the best! You make my days ( or maybe nights 😉😂 ) better. Love you guys❤// Jenny
I love Cilla laughing in this, this was great! I can't quit watching😄
I love how Abbie is just walking around just taking it all in and you can see her processing it all I wish you all the best in your new house you all deserve it what an amazing family you are its so nice to see you all so happy love you all 😍😍😍
In Australia you have to have a fence around a 30cm deep kids pool, I always thought why America doesn’t seem to have fences around their pools. Love you guys!
Ok
I am a special educator, and I cannot describe how important having a safe room is. Not just for kiddos on the spectrum. But even for students who have been diagnosed with an emotional behavior disturbance. All of our special educators were trained by an outside agency as to how to utilize the room in the most effective way. And, most importantly, the agency gave us strategies to PREVENT us from having to use that room. But, even with all the training and strategies in the world... sometimes kids just have a melt down. And when they are no longer able to control themselves, we have to keep them (and everyone else) safe. We rarely rarely have to use it. But when it’s needed, I am so glad it’s there.

This new home has given a new light to the family! Not that you weren't amazing people before the move, but this new home has made such a dramatic positive change in everyone. So happy for y'all ❤️.
This is really random but I just wanted to say that I’m so happy I found your channel a couple months back. Not just because you guys are awesome, but because it has educated me about autism, even growing up with my cousin having high functioning autism, I still was so blind to a lot of things they go through. But through watching your guys video, I was educated and able to help a girl with autism about Abby’s age at work today. Her mom was so happy about how patient and understanding I was with her and they had a great time but I owe it all to you guys. Thank you so much ❤️
I recently started watching your channel about a month ago & I must say I absolutely love your family. I'm obsessed! I literally watch old vlogs every single night to try & catch up. I have already learned so much from yall & I must say you're wonderful parents, Isiah is the best brother ever & Abigail is the sweetest. I love you guys 💖💙💚💛🧡💜
That was awesone scaring issiah summer. Ur house is really starting to look amazing Priscilla and Asa. Thanks for letting us view it
Not gonna lie the End got me! 🤣🤣😂😂😂 it's ok Isaiah I'm a jumpy one too
Thank you for answering my question! I'm honestly having a fangirl moment right now! Lol You guys are definitely my favorite UA-cam family!
Priscilla's laugh is so contagious 💙
I'm up at 11:06 pm watching this was loooking forward to this all day
Absolutely the same, they posted on fb that they have a second vid tonight aswell, which will be posted later and I'm sooo staying up for it haha
Me too!!
You guys have worked hard to get the new house ready for everyone to occupy. The pool is safe enough for your family, as you say. Abbie has water confidence enough to get to the surface without a problem after she jumps in.
Your family just attracts all the joy! Your house is beautiful! Thank-you Asa answering questions! WTG Summer! Loved Isaiah's reaction! :-)
I love watching your vlog. I love seeing Abbie smile. I have learned so much about Autism from watching your vlog.
Oh my gosh Summer you are to funny jumping getting Isaiah 😂😂 could not help bursting out laughing amazingly done sweetie
LOVED YOU SCARING ISAIAH!👍😁 LOL! Abbie, I love that your friends are all hanging out with you! Thanks for answering all those great questions. It is so important and amazing that Fathering Autism is educating us and helping people to know what to do or what to try to "make the world a softer landing place for everyone!" Love you all Maass Family!👍💕😊
Thanks to you my awareness for young non-verbal autism is up to date. I've worked with young autistic children, but your channel is a spectrum full of information for me to digest. So much respect to you all caring for your adorable daughter
Isaiah jumping at Summer pranking him and Pricilla laughing at the end 😂
Cillas laugh got me cracking up🤣🤣
I absolutely love watching you guys! I have a neice who is autistic with adhd, odd and anxiety so I often can relate to you guys even though we are Australian and how doctors and public deal with our girl is different over here and not so supportive and understanding. But it's a nice feeling to see other families like you guys managing it with such grace and sharing your story for us to see and learn from! Oh And I love all the support Abbie has so heart warming! 😘❤
I love Abbie’s face, it’s like dad please don’t embarrass me in front of my friends
Asa,
I know you get more than over a thousand comments and messages a day, so I am not expecting a response. I came across your UA-cam videos by accident over Facebook a few weeks ago. I haven’t been able to stop watching. Your videos are so educational and have made such an impact on me in just a short amount of time. Your family is such an inspiration and has taught me so much. My dad has recently moved to St. Pete Florida. I currently still live in Indiana, but I have been looking into coming down to volunteer at a Surfer’s for Autism event near St. Pete. Your channel has just made me want to get involved with awareness and do what I can. I may not be able to donate a ton of money to the autism cause, but I can volunteer my time. I usually just volunteer to help animals. I feel so strongly about animals, it is my passion. Thanks to your channel, I have found another cause that I am truly becoming passionate about. So once again, I just wanted to say thank you for all you do.
I just started watching your channel in June. You guys rock! You all are so full of happiness and kindness!
Such a positive & unique family. We want to raise our child with the love you guys raise your children with! I'm not feeling well, don't know if it's anxiety or a heart problem but I'm actually pretty nervous and this video is helping me calm down,
I love how Asa knew that the fireplace could be an issue but chose to hope for the best. It’s something that I’m learning from your family, don’t sweat the small stuff (big mess but still small stuff)
Im so glad i found your channel 3 months ago. Forget watching TV. I just watch fatheringAutism. Best thing ever to watch. I adore Abbie so much. Shes a rockstar forsure.
Beautiful home! Please get a professional chimney sweep before using the fireplace.
Love Cillas makeup area 😍 can’t wait to have something similar someday
That’s amazing the extra support.
I came across your videos looking at respite therapy videos as that’s the career path I was looking into, I fell in LOVE with Abby and your family. Thanks for all you do! Best wishes to you and your family!
I can not go a day with out watching your vlogs. I wait all day for a video and when it comes up I get really happy. All of you make me slime so much!
Priscilla has the best laugh EVER!! Poor Isaiah- getting stuck cleaning out the fireplace, then getting frightened by Summer-- 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wish I had a family like that love support and togetherness
I know NOTHING about autism. But i love everyone of yall. Yall are amazing and a beautiful family .
Yay! Love video #1. Can’t wait for the 2nd one. ❤️ so happy summer is with you guys.
Your channel came out on my recommendations a couple months back and now I can’t stop watching! Looking forward to more of your videos. Much love!
I’m the 328,325th subscriber. I’ve watched a couple of your videos in the past but recently I’ve been very drawn to your channel. I have a son who we thought might have autism and even tho currently his diagnosis is something else, I feel like as a younger parent (I’m close to 30) I feel like I have learned so much from your family. Thanks for everything you do for your children and others and thank you for sharing the journey-it has already impacted my life, I can only imagine how many others who have been impacted.
0:20 The cardboard box didn't even touch that side of the door, poor guy got blamed for no reason.
It did touch
It took the paint off. Tiny spot but I’d rightfully blame him as well haha when you own a nice home; you don’t want ANY scuffs or chipped paint
I'm 1000% percent jealous of that makeup room I so need one!!! 💄💄💄
I love watching your videos daily, it’s the best way to end my day every single night! Such a positive loving family❤️💙❤️💙
MAASS FAMILY, I love this video, Abbie Your Friend Becky came over, that was sweet, had lots of fun in the pool, Summer scared Isiah, i would jump too scared hahaha, ohh Summer and Priscilla !!!!!!
.😊😊😊😊😊😊.
🙏🏼❤️ I’m trying to picture the whole exterior of the house but it’s tough to understand where the pool is, is it on the side or the back??...can you do a drone view of around the exterior for us?? PLEASE 🙏🏼❤️
That ending is everything!
In Texas, we don’t need an enclosure for our pool, but it helps with insurance. Great video!
I love you guys so much you guys are like my second family I love you so much and I hope you understand that and abbie is the most beautiful girl ever and her smile is everything I love you so much I'm only a teen but you all inspire me love your biggest fan ever love all of yall ❤️❤️
Another awesome video! You're videos are my daily dose of happy! We love you Maas family!
My friend lives in Florida and sometimes when I call her she will say , “Oh, it was just raining here.”
Literally ever since this channel was in my recommendations I’ve watched it every single day. I’m glad UA-cam recommended it to me
Haha Summer! That was hilarious! I love these videos!
your home is beautiful! All the hard work payin off! CONGRATS!!
For the fire place, what my family does use a scoop/ like a mini shovel and put it in a bin bag, otherwise it goes all over the carpet! Just a warning that, the large amount of soot was probs created from 5ish fires, it builds up so fast!! So we have bought a metal bin and a metal scoop for the ashes so its easier to deal with!
So I work as an ABA technician. I've been working in the field for about a month and a half. I just found your channel about 3 days ago, and I love it.
I love that no matter what you guys find the position in EVERYTHING. And how Abby help change that for you guys. She is a beautiful child and im proud of how far she has come along. Little progress is still progress! ❤️❤️
😂🤣😂🤣👍Cilla & Summer got their indoor fins (endorphins) tricking Isaiah with the big box. How funny!! You DO know Isaiah WILL get you all back, don't you?? 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂👍
Wow that did scare me too you guy are so funny 😂 love your home so much thanks for sharing
Priscilla, you look so amazing! Your outfit is the best.
I had to rewatch the last part cause it was fun. Love Priscilla laughing. Your decorating is so nice.
You guys be careful with the baby gate because I just dislocated and fracture my knee stepping over a baby gate. Lol. Just had my surgery today! Love you guys and I hope y’all are settling into the new house well!
Life has been super rough for so many reasons. Depression is horrible, but I truly laugh with you Priscilla! This one had me 😂😂😂 your laugh is contagious! Thank you for giving me a reason to laugh for the first time in a very long time. 🥺 oh how I wish I would have had a family dynamic like this when I was growing up. I tell everyone about you guys! And everyone I know, subscribed and loves you all too!
It's amazing to watch this channel grow! It's like a thousand a day ☺
I just love y’all. Favorite part of my day is getting a notification that y’all have uploaded a new video 💖
I just have to say, Priscilla, you look absolutely fantastic! You are so inspiring and your positive attitude shines through so much! So much love to you and the rest of the Maas family! 💜
So great to see you guys having fun in the new house. Love Cilla & Summer stooging Isaiah!
Priscilla!! You look AMAZING! And that top! Where’d you get it??
I’d love to know too! It’s gorgeous
I would like to know also😊
Ive commented along these lines before... i love your vlogs and family SO MUCH. But i think its really important in the position you are that you do explain the reality that 99% of people who join multi level marketing companies LOSE money. Priscilla works hard but also has the advantage of a larger social media reach than typical. Especially considering how many families with disabled children / children with disability that must watch you, these are often financially vulnerable people who may be drawn to the MLM businesses without fully understanding the enormous risk. They might be the 1% who do profit!! But its also important to remember that is profiting from the losses from the other 99% of people who sign up to MLMs. Ofc its their role to do due dilligence before they sign up but you are also a trusted public figure showing a really one sided portrayal of multi level marketing companies.
If anyone reading is interested, there’s loads of MLM info on youtube and reddit. The podcast The Dream is great. John Oliver did a great segment on MLMs, its on youtube.
Erika E Nope. There’s a difference between an MLM and a pyramid scheme. What you’re describing is a pyramid scheme. In that case the company’s customer is the sales person. They have to purchase product in order to sell it. They have to purchase more product in order to receive their bonuses and incentives. Watch the Vice report on LULAROE for a good example of this. Priscilla purchased her starter kit for $160. That’s it. That’s all she has had to invest. The makeup she has is because of the sales she’s made earning credits. When customers purchase they purchase directly from the company, not from her. I can’t imagine a scenario in which someone could lose money with LimeLife. FYI, there are 40k beauty guides with LimeLife. Priscilla is the only one with a UA-cam channel. All of the girls on her team either put in the work and have been successful or they didn’t. None of 30 of them have lost money...like any. That’s why she has no problem signing anybody up. Worst case scenario, somebody buys the starter kit, does nothing with it, and ends up with discounted high quality makeup.
FatheringAutism i’d definitely encourage you both to listen to the podcast i mentioned as it has thorough research into limelight/limelife specifically 💙💙 Love to you all
Erika E We’ve heard it. Having been with the company for over a year the “research” is utter crap. If you pay attention to the podcast you will notice they name LimeLife specifically but the statements are generally made about pyramid schemes and not actually about LimeLife.
I’ve enjoyed your comments for a long time so please know I’m not being rude here at all. You really should look into something before commenting on it especially when your opinion is based on someone else’s “research”. I’m very business minded (I’ve owned a few of them) and this is a good, straight forward business. Priscilla wouldn’t be associated with it if it wasn’t. Seriously...look into it if you’re concerned. All I’ve ever heard knocking LimeLife are generalizations made about MLMs. Generalizations and stereotypes are small minded in any situation. 👍🏼
FatheringAutism you’re definitely not at all being rude!! It’s reassuring to know this is something you have thoroughly considered all sides of. I suppose any business venture runs a risk of bombing and a potential for success!
I dont know what I would do with my life if i didnt have y'alls videos to watch lol i watch them from the minute i get off work to the minute i go to bed.
Right..
Cilla , come to Ohio and do my makeup for my babyshower.. Thanks :)😂
I rewatched Isaiah scream about 10 times and giggled every time.
Me too 😂😂
Same hahaha
Always look forward to my notification for the daily dose of the MASS squad you're all awesome. Genuinely find you an inspirational family x
Love Pricillas style, the light above the island in the kitchen is fabulous
The shenanigans have started again! Thank you! That was awesome!
Wendy Garton Wait for the next video today 😉 lol
You guys are great! Summer, that was an awesome way to get the young man!!!!!! Love Priscilla's laugh. I hope Abby went to sleep to the sound of her mother's laugh. Your making wonderful memories!
Priscilla has lost soooooo much weight!! It’s such a crazy difference watching this vlog and a vlog from last year!
I worked for an Elementary school that has an EBD program. For all grades K-5 and we had a full padded room for them. Some of the kids were like Abby and didnt really use the room. However we had children that were extremely dangerous to not only the other children but them selves. I had a boy chase a girl with pigtails with scissors trying to cut her hair off. We had kids that would throw themselves against the walls and scream awful things. The padded empty room was needed for them to calm down. My heart would break for the kids because all you want to do is hug them and love them.
I have really been loving your guys videos in the new house ❤️
