    every cordless vacuum yes dyson samsung tineco, all have poor batteries after 1-2yrs, this is perfect plus costco has the best lifetime refund warranty, no worry about batteries and if it breaks next year no worries

    Just got mine recently from Costco. Definitely has good power as you said. Wouldn't buy a cordless vacuum again like my last Eureka.

    Does you shark Uv580 make a different sound in the middle of vacuuming?
    I’ve checked the pipe and tubing also emptied the canister. Nothing is clogged, full suction. However it makes a different sound them when I originally turn it on.
    There’s no UA-cam videos on this either:/

    When the vaccuum is in hard wood floor mode do both rollers contact the floor or just the front soft roller?

    • @mbjdiy1778
      @mbjdiy1778  2 роки тому +1

      Both turn together ... in floor mode the front one turns slower ... in carpet mode they both turn at the same rate 😇 the front one makes more contact than the rear in floor mode it has metal bars to keep rear roller from wearing out the bristles on the floor just mainly for suction. 😇

    When you have the vacuum portion on will your vacuum stand up straight or do you have to take that top portion off and hook it onto the latch at the bottom

      @@mbjdiy1778 okay that's kind of what I thought I bought one last night set it up late but thinking about it if they did Make it stand that way it seems top heavy it would probably fall over and break.... I just take the top portion off and put it on the hook seems to work well thanks for the video I don't like reading directions....lol

    Has it held up with your wife’s hair? Also, have you found that the motor overheats? Some reviews complain about the motor getting hot too quickly.

    I bought my Shark UV580 recently and love it!
    However, do you know a way to get access to the little rollers on the bottom?
    I noticed hair getting wraparound those….and would like to tackle that issue:/

    • @mbjdiy1778
      @mbjdiy1778  Рік тому +2

      those little wheels as i took the plate off are attached ... to get the plate off use a Nickle USA coin and unlock the three tabs near the rear two big wheels (right , left , and center ... then the whole plate will tilt up to the front roller and lift out .. two clips on plate be easy do not break them ... and those clips go in first to put back together .... using the coin to lock the three plate locks 😇use tweezers to get the hair out

    Is this model good for stairs? How has it held up with your wife's hair? I have long hair and 2 long haired dogs. So I need something to deal with it all. I have a lift off Shark but its too heavy for stairs and the power brush died. Looking for a replacement good for carpeted stairs and tiles floors and this looks like it may work 🧐

    • @mbjdiy1778
      @mbjdiy1778  Рік тому +1

      the lift away is great to me ...we have both , but you can use the the ultralite stick(s ) attachments to snorkel the debris off (a little more work like vacuuming a car)... my wife's hair and pet does stick (very rarely ) a little and floss sometimes to the two heads.. but nothing like the old ones and very easy to remove 😇

    Great video but your filming technique is pretty bad. You need to either mount your phone/camera on a tripod or enlist a helper to film you as you demonstrate. It became difficult to see what you were talking about half the time since your camera was not pointing at the subject.
