I’ve had this vacuum for a year now and I’m giving it a bad rating because I’ve had problems after problems. It over heats and can burn you while discarding trash if you are not carful. I thought it would be a great vacuum since my husband is native and he has long hair and I also have 2 dogs with longer hair. The hair would always get stuck and needed cleaning after every session! It’s advertised as “No hair wrap” I’ve had lots of hair stuck around mine. I only use this for my marble tile floors, my master bedroom and an area rug in my living room. I’m shocked that it didn’t take much for the vacuum to begin giving me problems. A few months ago I got a warranty exchange because the vacuum eventually did not want to power on at all, or sometimes would not power off unless unplugging. I used the warranty vacuum about 3-5 times and it’s already giving me the same issues. Overheating after about 5 minutes of use, resulting in the vacuum shutting down. I tried the attachment for upholstery on my couch and the inside brush would not even roll to pick up any hair/debris and had barley any suction. Once again I called SHARK customer service and they are requesting more money to send another vacuum. At this point I was deeply disappointed and upset as this vacuum was not cheap! I really did not want to invest more money into it so Im left with this vacuum that does not even work properly. I will NEVER buy another shark product. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CRAP!
😆😂😆 same!!! This review and the Vacuum Wars review of duoclean specifically for hard floors convinced me. I’m dying at the excitement she has but also can relate lol
@@PauletteJean It's been two years since you posted this, so I'm wondering...do you still like this vacuum and is it still working? I was looking at cordless ones, but replacing the batteries is so expensive because you really need to get new ones every year or two. I'm just sticking with a corded vacuum and I'm leaning towards a shark stick vacuum, but I want to know from a real person who has had one awhile if they are worth it! :)
@@aprilprichard I don’t have it at this moment because it had overheated on so just stick with cord vacuums and get a warranty that’s how I was able return it
I love mine and its light weight yet so powerful it pulls me, lol. I just have to guide it and it takes off. Also, I assembled it in less then 15 minutes.
You can disconnect the top piece and hang it on the plastic piece in the front. The top piece has a place on the side that's a slit that says something about storage or hanging on it. Storing it like this will make it stand up by itself and shorter. I hope what I'm saying makes sense when you look at the vaccum. Storing it like this is also in the manual.
I love my shark I have a shark that is cordless no cords at all and I love my shark ion stick vacuum cleaner no cords but I wish my shark ion and my corded shark navigator had that brushroler not tangled technology but I still love my shark vacuums thay both work so good I love my shark ion more because it’s cordless but I still yous my shark navigator lift away too

Does yours over heat like the other commenter's does and give you lots of problems?
Yess that’s why I return it
@PauletteJean Why did you return it.. I just bought it, should I cancel my order?
Real world review! Haha very good!
Thank you so much
Great video! How often do you think the dust bin has to be emptied?
A little bit often because the hairs it collects covers up the suction in you will have to empty it but its a great investment no lie
Mine doesn’t stay up by it’s self it leans over
Minds do the same its like it's drunk or something u end up looking at the corner of your eye in see it easing on down lol
@@PauletteJean lol yeah

Shark would be winning if they had all of there sharks with the brush roller I won't trade my shark for nothing in the world
@@PauletteJean I have been tanking of upgrading to the shark vortex cordless stick vacuum with the zero brushroler non tangled technology
I have one, but i will return it.
Did end up getting the corded kind
@@PauletteJean yes i will get that too.
Yess I think you should. I'm starting to realize you have to empty it alot lol
@@PauletteJean ok. Sure thank you!!☺
@@PauletteJean i went today to buy one with cord at bed bad and beyond,
