Guys, as a person who lives in Europe, which is filled with overcrowded beaches with tons of buidings, I have to say, on this particular topic, you can be greatful to Australia for keeping your beaches wild. ❤ We are actually paying to travel to destinations with wild beaches with no clubs, hotels etc., because they get so commercial with time, they get polluted and so crowded, you can't really enjoy nature anymore. I guess it's cool to people who haven't got this experience on a day to day basis, but it's environmentally really horrible, landscapes and ecosystems are oftenly destroyed in the process of building. But honestly, I adore these cute white umbrellas! This beach looks really beautiful.❤ So happy the vlogs are back! Have a great time on your travels!❤🌞

Hi French here! couple of points I would like to highlight: First of all it's Croisette not Croissette ;) second of all, we have free beaches and technically you can place yourself in front of this private beaches and eat your own pique nique and drink your wine (yep we drink mostly beer in a cooler at the beach if we want to). Those private beaches are cool and practical but to be honest only tourists and people with let's say "high level income" use them as it is so expensive. Hope you enjoyed our lovely south coast, next time if you want more of a French vibe than international you should come to the Aquitaine Region and biarritz, where the French high earners spend their summer :)
Here in Brazil, the beaches are also public and free. I believe it's quite democratic this way! Although beach clubs can also be very cool on one hand, on the other hand I think the beaches should be accessible to everyone! And in Brazil it's possible to buy drinks and food from beach stalls and vendors!

The good part about traveling in Europe is that you walk ALOT. Went to Italy last fall, ate and surprisingly didn’t gain one pound because we walked more than we ate. Shocking I know. But true. Was surprised I didn’t eat as much I WANTED to. 😂😋 Everything was delicious!

The French really know how to do it I’m style.
Though in summer Port Melbourne have have pop up restaurants & bars with sun chairs. You don’t have to book. First in first served. And you can order from your sun chair and easily walk to the beach which is absolutely free! Summer fun in Melbourne.

Sounds a lot better to have a free beach rather than £100+ just to go to the beach. I like having bars on bear side for evening use etc. And most places in uk or Europe you can rent a sunbed for £10.
Sounds like a very specific spot you are at which is a nice experience, but would not be great if you were local

In Mallorca there is a beach club where they‘re charging over 350€ per Bed - it’s exaggerated. 😳 You got a bargain there. 🙈

It's preservation, it's like that here in Hawaii. The beach is protected by law as public, so no business can kick you off and claim it's part of their business.

Hubby and I were in Cannes in Aug. 2020. It was not busy. We are where you guys were chilling at the beach club. ❤
Let me tell you why Australia is doing an amazing job for not letting businesses on the beach.
If you go to the Albanian Riviera (the coast of Albania), there are soooooooo many beach clubs and those beach clubs have soooo many beach chairs. My goodness! It is wayyy too crazy. There is no beach that does not have loads of beach chairs.
