- Searching a Native American Indian camp for arrowheads and artifacts with good friends and the smokers just keep coming out! My best day of digging in a long time or ever!
Thanks for watching, like, comment, subscribe and cheers!
You guys hit the jack pot I love that
Man did we ever. Was a great day!
What a dig!
Absolutely unbelievable site!
Now that's some good looting. It's like living in Somalia
@@frankmacleod2565 at its finest! I mean to find over 100 points in one day, looting done right!!
@@SharkWaterOutdoors and you wonder why people are looting the walgreens and the walmarts and every other store, kids aren't being taught respect anymore. Sad
@@frankmacleod2565 my kids have plenty of respect. I bet you’re a real hoot to be around lol. Lemme tell ya. Just a bundle of joy 😂.
Grats, I'm jelly. I cringed every time someone would just throw them back down and when homeboy at the end just starts grabbing them by the handfull and throwing them in a walmart sack....omg my skin is crawling...
Thanks. Yes sir, I get that. The brokes don’t mean much to some people. I like them all.
I wish you guys could've shown a little more respect for the artifacts you dug up, but I did enjoy the video. 🙂
Nothing but respect shown for the artifacts found. I’ve never sold one or traded one or anything like that. We dig like we do and have fun doing it. Thank you!
Can,t get better then that boys amazing finds super good job.
It was a day to remember that’s for sure. Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching!
That's insane! Wow! Found a whole collection in a day!
It is a special place! Don’t always happen like that, or ever for that matter lol. Thanks for watching!
I'm in southeast Wis. I found what I always thought was a Perd. Just one. It's to thick to be a Perd. Those Perds you guys found are thin and just awesome!! Congrats! Rjk.
@@richardklapka5147 thank you!
great job guys....how old do you think most of them are...?
Thanks bud. Most are around 3-4,000 years old.
Would have been nice to know the depths in which all these points were found. Guess all that data was lost in the plunder.
Wasn’t my operation, just the helper. Every camp is different. 2-4 feet here.
@@SharkWaterOutdoors Understood. Even full on archaeological digs don’t always or are unable to collect and fully document dig sites.
@@greggramig910 agreed. We do what we can in the time allowed.
WhooooooooooooooooWeeeeeeeeee what a haul !!!
Was an insane day man!
Very envious honestly lol. Points your way are much different then up here in SE Missouri
Very different. Crazy how different they are across the country.
That's unbelievable!
Thanks!
I love Arrowhead Hunting ❤️ Just wish I had a place to hunt for Arrowheads 👍
Keep looking for a place, you’ll find one!
That sifter seems like it works pretty awesome. We have a massive pile of dirt that’s full of arrowheads, but with the wheelbarrow sifter that we’re using it will probably take us a lifetime, lol.
It does work good! No too detailed either. I have some friends that have one that is a shaker table also. Works really well in sand.
@@SharkWaterOutdoors That’s awesome, we decided we’re gonna build one like y’all’s soon. As long as we can get expanded metal at a decent price.
Wes!! Fabulous finds ❤️ I know you and your buddys had a blast.
I would legit pay so much to be there, walking the fields are getting boring, and the woods are too over grown to go to the creeks
It was a smoking spot for sure! I could see how that might get to you after a while. Keep looking down man!
Good Lord!! People spend their lives collecting and do not have a collection like what you all got in one day.
This camp was one you dream about!
@@SharkWaterOutdoors You are not kidding!!!!!
@@beachcomber4141 if only we could still dig there 😢
You just DESTROYED a historical site. Very sad, i wish people would understand how much information is lost when you dig like this. If you really care about the natives and their culture then you wouldn’t do this.
Nothing was destroyed. It’s an organized dig. We know what we are doing. Everyone can dig how they choose absolutely nothing wrong with it. Thanks for watching!!
@@SharkWaterOutdoors organized?? You have no clue what you are taking about. Tell me now, what herbs did the natives consume at that camp? What kind of houses did they build? If your dig was organized you would be able to tell me. Go read a book
@@paleodavis8136 haha! Don’t have time for books, have to go dig!!
@@SharkWaterOutdoors you are very selfish
@@SharkWaterOutdoors you take pride in being ignorant, typical narcissist
Thats crazy man
My craziest day to date!
Wow impressive
Thanks!
Sure would have like to hear the story behind all those artifacts other than what names/type they are. like how old where they, what was the game they hunted mostly with them, which where knifes and which where spearheads. Also would have liked to know if there were overlaping on the site different times. Was there any pottery if so were there any markings that maybe carried over from a group a good distancs away that would tie them together. I noticed the heavy screens you were sifting through that beads could go right through, did you even look for any? how about there houses were they reed thatched or clay dobb houses you can clearly see the post holes when digging, they are darker circular shape from the rest of the dirt around them. were there mineral rock (ochers) did they paint themselves with it and what color was it. collecting spearpoints and knifes from a village site is only a small part of things that went on there,...in one day digging with a bulldozer took away all that information and is now lost forever. whats sad is it will continue,.. Oh well,.. i'll drink to that.
To each their own. We do it our way and you do it yours, but you’re right, cheers!
I saw this video and immediately got sick to my stomach, these toolbags dont care at all about history. All they care about is finding “arrowheads,” … despicable.
@@SharkWaterOutdoors not a very compassionate response, considering the damage y'all did
@@Gamingreviewer300 damage? What damage?
I’m from the Houston area. Been looking my whole life for just one good point. Let me come hunt with y’all sometime!!
That’s a possibility maybe. Keep looking, you’ll get it!
Apparently y’all found a campsite… Good shit!
That’s what ya look for!
@@SharkWaterOutdoors I’m an artifact nut myself. South Texas don’t have near the kinda points y’all are finding! Love it!
Amazing finds brother! Damn nice perds! Gotta get 1 day of that for me and my son. Great job 👍
Thanks!
Ok man share !! Where can we pay for this private dig ??
This one is no more. I know, it’s a sad deal
Well now that's pretty crazy !
It was very crazy!
I can't believe that you found all of that in one day & in one place! Kinda envious.
If only all camps were as rich as that one!
Amazing
It really was!
You sir have a lotta drinkin to do🤣 wish my area was that rich!! Killer finds
Haha, right! Keep looking, you’ll find that rich spot!!
Were you all digging at JT's place? That is one nice haul!
Thanks! No sir, this one is with a buddy of mine.
Take me with you
Let’s go!
The only thing that boy will find is a for sure hangover
Absolutely amazing finds. There was a spot that I always wanted to hunt for relics along the west branch of the Susquehanna river but it is all privately owned and they use no till farming so no chance of walking the furrows if they would plow.
Thanks! Yeah, no till doesn’t really help much in that kind of looking.
Dave, you in MD or PA? I'm in AACo MD. Too much private land and people with their pants on too tight....If i was a kid in the 80s I would have had a BLAST looking for these. Gotta hit southern MD and the Potomac to get anything these days.
@@juicebox86 Central Pa.
Do u Keep what you find or land owner keeps all either way purrdy awesome
Most of the time it’s keep what you find. I would always share with the landowner if that were the case. I enjoy the find more than anything!
Nice stuff but using a bobcat to dig seems off to me. I would hate to see people doing this to ancient campsites. You leave nothing behind for anyone else, and the process seems more for your gain than the love of the dig. One arrowhead dug out of the ground is much more rewarding than a tractor digging up 100 to me.
To each their own. I get that but when you have limited time to dig an area, you do it how you can. Every arrowhead dug out of the ground, no matter how is rewarding!
What state is this?
Texas!!
How!? Is this a full-on dig site (like GS TX Digs?) I have never had the opportunity to dig and sift. Only surface finds...
This is a private dig site. I’ve been to GTs before and that sand is a different animal lol. Similar but now near to the extent of GTs.
@@SharkWaterOutdoors that is awesome. Is it fairly common in Texas to have large plots of land known to have artifacts, available for private digs? Such a neat concept in my opinion. Again, pretty locked down in Maryland. Most people who have had things discovered on their property turn it over to the archaeologists. Which, I’m not against and it’s entirety, but they can’t save them all. Wish there was more opportunity for vocational rock hounds.
Thanks for the reply
@@juicebox86 all depends on the landowner and who you know. All someone can do is say no. Tons of of opportunities here tho, yes.
That’s unbelievable!
I’ve never seen anything like that before in my life!
Congrats, boys!
Thank you! Very much appreciated and unbelievable!
Is this a friend's private property or is it a place you can pay to dig at? Like bone vally in Florida?
It was a private dig.
I would exhaust tens of thousands of dollars in fuel digging that place as DEEP as I could 😅
That’s no joke!
the disrespect and rough handling of these priceless artifacts makes me cringe ! "just bag em up" clang em together and stick em in a big old plastic bag ....yuck! ........nice finds though but this is a bit brutal . kind of reminds me of those man made lakes where you pay per lb of rainbow trout you catch and people kill far more than the ticket allows and they throw them back dead . it seems brutal and leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth. surely you couldn't feel good about this like you would if you surface found a clovis after years of looking and walking ? all the possible archaeological data about who these folks were and why they were there is lost because you lot decided to get drunk and mine the campsite with a machine for some "arrowheads" to put in a glass case . surface hunting is a great way to save artifacts as is hunting sites excavated for drainage or creeks/ ploughed fields but what you are all doing is morally bankrupt at best .
To each their own. Brokes are different than perfect ones! We know exactly what we are doing here. It’s “plowed” by the way. Thanks for commenting and good luck!!
You seem impaired.
Guy on skid steer dug all of them ! LOL
Agreed! Lol
Wow that’s a lot of great finds! You’re on em! Good luck😎👍👍👍
Much appreciated!!
Honey hole 🕳️ I reckon good video
Pretty hot! Thanks.
Was the sneaker from One Foot Bear !!!
I’ve had just as many people ask about the shoe as the artifacts! Haha
great video enjoyed seeing the finds 😅😊
Much appreciated. Thanks for watching!
a lot of the big ones look like spear points
Yes, haven’t found many actually arrow points at this spot yet.
Just found your channel and subscribed. Awesome points! Thanks for sharing!
Much appreciated, thank you!
I wish I had a opportunity like that awesome video man
Much appreciated!
What state you all in?
The great state of Texas!
What going on why is skid steer moving dirt ? This a job site or just easy way to dig arrowheads?
Move more dirt faster.
So when y'all say it's been a minute you literally mean like 60 seconds 😉😅🤣😂
Haha sometime, yes!
Would I sell any I’m a avid collector
I’ve never sold one.
There's a better way to go about this. Is this a burial.
Definitely not a burial
Is this a pay to dig site?
This one is a private dig.
Are you digging up a football field?
No sir, it’s an open field where two creeks meet. There is a practice set of uprights out there though lol.
@Shark Water Outdoors ok I thought mybe you were installing artificial turf and stumbled upon the site
