Can’t leave the grind life! I appreciate your motivation, good work with your son is special. Hope your phone survives the incident and we get to see the video. That’s a sweet rig you got there, thanks for showing the ‘tank’!
Glad to hear you signed on 5 more years. Both you and your son are really blessed. Looking forward to seeing Sherman in action! Great video.
Brother I am hoping to have the same life experiences with my son, he is grown and on his own but love when he comes by the house and we talk about the business and life and asks advice again, I can't lie it definitely gives me the boost to see him coming around full circle and having a great outlook for life and is open minded! Proud moments for us all when that happens I guess lol. Anyway thanks for all your tips and good advice brother, have a great day..
Way to go keeping it in family he can learn a lot and the right way to do things and how to treat people with respect keep up the good work
Great talk about your son, . Mines doing exactly what you say and I get it. Love having him working Saturdays with me. Tells me things he won’t when moms around 😂👍
Amen brother
Love the family part of this video. New machine looks great.
Thanks 👍
Adam, great video as usual. You’re so right about having a running spare grinder, less down time is key. Working spare grinder is a must. Hope hip’s pain free. Keep’m coming brother. Fran

Nice looking machine. Hope he does well for you and your Son.
Thanks 👍
Good luck with your phone. Great video!
Thanks so much!
Nice machine Adam
Thanks 👍
I've got the 20/20 machine just like that really love it with the revolutionary wheel and teeth are tough only downfall is with the Kohler diesel it's really top heavy got to watch it compared to the Kohler 44 horse and the controls on it if you're going through a 36 inch gate if the gate is tall or fence is tall the forward and reverse lever will hit the fence so you can't quite get through either got to bend a lever or take it out and use a screwdriver or something but I don't run into that too much it's a hell of a machine it eats stumps up
7:50 $56,000 seems like a good price... did you have a coupon... :)
Have you ever had to grind a
Bois D' Arc stump. If so was it hard on the stump grinder.
we call them Osage orange or horse apple
Hey Adam, what make and model trailer are you using to transport Sherman?
Great videos!
Will get you the info
Nice machine. I have been considering the 2550. Did you think of getting your machine with the remote?
I have had one in my fleet before but I was not a fan due to being in an urban environment and many unknowns in the ground , I like to feel what I am grinding but one of my past guys loved it
So just started out doing pretty well with my sc 252. My next upgrade I was debating between the sg40 and the 2550. What are your thoughts? Spend the money now or buy the sg40 and gradually save up for the 2550?
Buy sg40 build up more then buy 2550 but dont sell sg40 for a backup unit
Just cant get through that 32" gate
I have an old Vermeer 672 with a 65hp Wisconsin I’m restoring to get into the business as a side hustle. I have options, should I put the green teeth on my stock wheel or by the revolution wheel like you have on your bandit?
I love both but what kind of area do you live in ? Rocky or just normal ... the green system cuts faster but the NR Rev wheel teeth are stronger
Adam, I currently have the sg40 and we are about to add another machine to the fleet. The price is more than double for the 2550 vs the sg40. Can you please let me know how much more efficient the 2550 model is vs the sg40 in terms of grind time? Also, is there a lot more maintenance?
Thanks
John
There is no stump I am afraid of with a 2550 ... sg40 has belts and belts get hot 2550 if powered by hydraulics and I only change fluids and filters .... it truly depends on your average size stumps you are doing .... if most are 40 inch and less add a sg40 if they are larger go with a 2550 due to 50hp and more torque .... demo one
@@mustangrebuilder I appreciate the insight and quick response!
I love the videos as well! Keep em coming sir!
We ended up getting the 2550. Green in color and named him HULK!
Question: is there a filter crossover for the hydraulic tank? Bandit has them backordered and my dealer can't get em....or so I'm told.
And was there a reason for choosing the Kubota over the Kohler diesel?
Yes kubota has been building diesels for years ..most tractor trailers with refrigeration trailers are powered by them
OK good to know thank you again! Your video's are great and have helped me more than you know!
Where did you say you bought the stump grinder at.
Bobcat of tX
Hello, I am looking to buy a 2550t he is asking 45k with 150 hours. Is that a good price? How much did you pay for yours? Thank you
Thats a good price they go for 57k to 60 plus new
@mustangrebuilder thank you. I'm looking forward to buying it. Hopefully, I can get it.
@mustangrebuilder one more question. How much quicker is that 2550 vs the sg40. I am currently running an sg40
@@mustangrebuilder I just got a quote for $72k. It's got remote, tracks and blade though
@@HandymanHustle Holy shit
What ever happen with the 252 ?
Still have her loaned her to my buddy and will be updating the cutter teeth to green teeth
