Thank you for posting this! It was my very first N64 game and I really ripped it apart with my created player :-D You actually put all players in who were on each squad. I'm saying that because you wrote "only" in the title. Having the number 1 player fixed and showing 4 in the 2nd player spot makes 5 in total, which was the total amount of players per team. The theme music is awesome! Brings back so many memories!
Almost no NBA games have Jordan, Barkley or Shaq. But I feel it kind of f'd up this game more, since Chicago & Orlando are the Number 1 & 3 team in the game, mainly due to MJ & Shaq. Just imagine the stats these 3 all-time-greats would've had. And all the battles you could've had with your friends. Also it would've made the feel of one of the greatest eras in NBA history much more complete.
Barkley, Shaq and Houston finally joins the Roster in the sequel NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC. But because of his rights / likeness, Michael didn’t appear.

Houston was only in the arcade version. I think Barkley and Jordan couldn't be in it cause of space jam. And Shaq cause of Kazaam.
