@ROCT1917not the opening to this album, I’m talking about the music itself. As cringe as it sounds it reminds me of anime openings from the early 2000’s, like Naruto
@@spoonssoup6739 late response, but: Saidan specializes in sounding like anime shit, but if you like this then you’d probably like Totale Vernichtung, Rostorchester, Weltvernichtung (on the name nose for a TV worship band haha), Flaming Ouroboros (some of it, at least), Ukhu Pacha, shit like that. It's not. I have no love for any sub currents that claim to represent this or that political movement. I like riffs, and good music that creates engagement, escapism and makes me feel different, be it what genre it is. If in Black Metal I recently often tend to more stoic and triumphant sounds is because I like its sound, nothing else. Same goes to being a huge fan of old crust, anarcho-punk, etc, even if those genres I'm much more interested in lyrical content. But noone seems to notice when I post shit with other political inclinations, or deliberately choose to ignore it, so there's nothing I can do about it. I still keep out shit that I feel steps on the line for me and openly stands against values that I believe should be universal. Still people in my own side try to report and get my channel down, and I'm sure its a matter of time, but yeah it is what it is. Those who know me know where I stand and how its diametrically opposite to this corner of the barricade, and that's enough for me. Feel free to ignore any video that you fear getting indoctrinated by or something like that.
@@ritesofpestilence Possibly the best answer imaginable my man. My original comment did sound a bit provocative upon rereading it, but I was merely curious as to what your thoughts on the matter are, and they are now clear as day. I used to be allergic to people that shouted we should 'separate the art from the artist' but alas, I've no more interest in supporting that attitude. You're always on point and I've discovered so many hidden gems through your channel, there's nothing but gratitude here. Perhaps the stoïc and triumphant sound you describe is about to transcend the politics behind it, perhaps not. whatever it turns out to be, fuck people trying to report/cancel other people that're working HARD to spread good music. Hats off to thee.
@@FingeredCrosses I think most people "separate the art from the artist" since they are born. Even in mainstream circles and education, we get acquainted with the music, the writings, the movies, the scientific discoveries of multiple people whose beliefs and actions are questionable. That's not a reason to erase the merit in some of their work. It's only when you get to a certain age that you start to question those behind the art and interested in their personas, and it's natural, but you can consume someone's work without being drawn into their beliefs, just like you can have a political discussion with someone who you don't agree with. The belief that someone can just live in his own political bubble without facing antagonistic values and ideals is a mediocre utopia and, ultimately, quite poor in content and self-realization in my opinion. Of course one thing is the action needed in the spectrum of mass media, "real life" public political discourse and parliamentary representation, another is what happens in subcultures where in my opinion the same rules shouldnt apply, and its natural to play and experiment with extremist themes even in an action-reaction way, the same way that people like Throbbing Gristle, early Brittish Industrial and Neofolk artists, the Viennese aktionists and many others did in the 80s, some being leftists but experimenting with far-right imagery. But yeah, the way you support or not people who share those beliefs is another story of course and up to each own. Cheers man, I appreciate the words and the exchange of ideas of course, as well as your recurrent demonstration of support! To me it entirely transcends politics, regardless of the intention, I feel like that idea of stoicism and endurance are a vision very important in life and lacking in the left nowadays, at least where I live, so for me music that carries that feeling is very evocative. All the best!

sublime and proud
This has been stuck in my head all week!
Very Nice! Officially 30 years ago, Black Metal began to grow worldwide. It reminded me of Morke's 1994 Demo. It's a trip to the past.
the mix between playful guitars and tortured vocals on Above it all is juste great
Excellent.
Avvesome band! 🙏
Super good stuff, even better than ‘autumn hearts’
Does anyone knows where the letters E.A.G.L.E. stand for??

Gimmick for the cool looking name, like ü in Mütiilation, or big sunglasses in Darkthrone.
