It indeed takes patience to draw but you WILL get there. Whoever you are reading this do not be discouraged by "I've been trying to draw for so long and still can't get what I want" keep trying! It depends on the person and how determined you really are with drawing. For me I've been drawing since I can remember(like around age 6), starting off with silly doodles and scribbles. In middle school I had the opportunity to join an art class but ignored it because I thought I didn't need to learn of art if I already knew how to draw, which was a bad decision on my part. In high school I decided to get in art class and realized there are so many techniques out there that can help you so much on what your trying to achieve and the fact that I met other great artists that also had great tips to share. It took me about 12 years to finally be able to take my own ideas and draw them but for some it doesn't take that long. So if you've made it this far into my comment please TRY YOUR BEST and create a masterpiece!! :D
I also forgot to mention that even after 12 years I'm still not at my best I know I still have lots to learn, you just got to keep going!! Hope I made someone feel better.
***** beautiful words ;-; I've been drawing to and I cant seem to get it right but after this video I finally got it but then your words *keeps drawing*
Kenshin [Iris Dust] Himura yes.practicr practice I'd say practice drawing shapes first.than mess around and put them together making a weird monster animal than go to doing animals etc
Art tala carte when I was smaller (im 11) I always wanted to draw and I did I didnt like how my drawings came out but people did like em so I kept drawing then one day I was waching a disney movie then I wanted to draw realistic animals...I knew I couldnt draw it the way I wanted it...so I went on youtube and found this video at age 10 and I did it a drew a perfect wolf and now when I look at my old drawings and my new drawings I can see that I improved alot all thanks to you so thank you
I've been drawing wolves for about 6 years now. But I've always drawn since a very young age. I've found my art style, you could say but your videos still help me! They keep giving me tips that improve my art so thank you!! 😊
Arte ala carte. I am so grateful for your videos. They help me improve everyday and i am starting to see quite an amount of progress from at least some of my oldest drawings. I have developed a progress strategy where I write what I learned from the piece. It helps me discern what I did well and what I can improve on and some general comments. Thank you Art Ala Carte for helping me draw more professionally.
You just inspired me study art!I was doing lessoms and stuff since I was 4,and I always loved art.But I never thought about studying this!Everything u said in this video, made me think about this, and do what makes me happy! Thanks so much!
As a young artist who draws wolves a lot I understand the importance of getting motion into your drawing. I also learned that having patience is needed when working to get better. This video and your words are very helpful to me. It took me four years to get where I am in my work and I'm only 15. Albeit nothing of mine is perfect but I've seen improvement in my drawings. I don't have videos but I do have a deviantart account you could see. My Deviant ID is LexiesWolves. Mine name says it all, I'm a wolfaholic lol. Thank you for your encouraging words, you have no idea how many times I wanted to give up. Whenever I'm feeling down about my work I watch this and I feel better. :)
You are SO amazing. I'm 13, And I used to hate drawing. But I saw one of you'r drawing video's about a month ago, And now I love to draw. I can draw Cats, Tigers, Birds, Wolves, Dogs. Of-coarse I didn't learn all my drawing from you, But, You helped me understand how to do it better. Thanks!
By the way, I'm just 11. So I'm actually a multi tasking, hobby, I dunno. I'm also a sort of computer geek. Also an athele and a drawer. I'm an introvert and extrovert.
mine didnt turn out great... im not very proud of the face... but ive been drawing since i was 5...AND WONT STOP NOW! Ive seen SSOOO much growth over the years. I say im pretty good at drawing human heads and bodies..and sometimes ill look back at drawings from only 1 week ago and laugh at myself cause their so bad. but i know that watchi g tutorials, looki g at reference pictures,it helps. so i wont give up. HAVE A GREAT DAY
Awesome! As a 10 yr old I don’t find drawing too hard (but not too easy either). I managed to draw a rly good wolf from this vid and it encouraged me to draw more so now I’m getting good at it which is shocking cuz I’m more of a sporty person anyway thx for such a cool vid it helps a lot
Art ala Carte, I was searching UA-cam for "how to draw" vids and I feel unbelievably lucky to have found this vid! I always think my drawings are terrible but I finish and everyone says they're good. Thanks to you, now I know they aren't saying that just to make me happy! I love art and video games. Ooh, I wonder what this red "Subscribe" button does? *clicks subscribe button* 😄 thanks!!
Wow, you do great things for the art community! I have been an artist since I knew how to grab crayons and pastels, and almost every day, I learn something new. Inspiring me to practice way more is something I enjoy, and, the best thing is when you combine three great things that imagination has gifted us: music, art, and our minds. I tend to specialize in anything non-human/humanoid. My deviantart (AerodynamicDragon) is filled with the stuff I have created and will have so much more... Believe it or not, I am way younger then most guess from some of those drawings, which improve over the simple time of a few months!
im a reaaly young drawer i dont feel very confortouble saying my age but when i was about 6 i knew drawing was my skill.mEven though my drawings were bad they were amazing compared to my group age at my schools. I keep practicibg and you are an insperation to me. You help me when im screaming at myself wondering why cant i improve i watch a video of urs, draw it and keep drawing that every few days. I know how to draw wolfs cats and a bit of dogs. Idk why i forgot to sub!
Wow! You draw so well, I can't even imagine of drawing that well! While I was drawing, I was frustrated, but thanks to that inspiring motivation, I kept to it! After awhile, I got it. Thank you SO MUCH!
your very helpful when ever my mom does jewlry and messes up she always says "you learn from your mistakes and you can make more of them. its part of life!" it always makes me feel better when im stuck.
This is one of the most encouraging drawing videos I have ever watched. It's like you knew exactly how I feel. I am trying to get better at drawing from my imagination, it's hard, but I have seen some incredible pieces on deviant art. I am really into the Anthro/Furry styled drawings; you video has helped me so much, God bless.
Wow.... I love your videos!! They are so jaw-dropping! I just started drawing at the age of 10, and I think I'm getting the hang of it! Thank you so much!!
YOU inspire me like soo much I'm just siting here with my sketch pad thinking and thinking and your words mean allot :) what i have trouble with allot is finding a style that i can draw but also looks nice. Thank you for helping me along!
I followed your video and it took me 10 tries to get it similar to yours it actually looks a bit like yours thanks you helped me a lot it's the best I've ever drawn a wolf :D
Thank you so much for posting all these videos!!! I may not follow along with all of them, but I always come away with a few more "experience points". ;)
I may suck now, but i will probably get it. After all, practice makes perfect. Im gonna put effort into this. Thank you for the lovley posts! Keep up the good work of drawing!
OMG I love your videos.. The first one I had ever watched was the anime wolf pup one. I loved it so much and since then I watch your videos and have gotten a TON better at drawing... THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH
Thanks! Even if i couldn't understand every word (i am not english) you said, you gave me the motivation to improve my drawing skills. I really needed it to keep going :D
This was my first time watching this and I followed along & somehow it turned out really really good and I'm only ten and its not the best but I love it and u really inspire me :3
I really enjoy watching you draw! You make it really easy. Currently im taking a drawing class for my major but one of our assignments is to make a hybrid animal. I have a whole page filled with doodles from ur videos lol. They are turning out pretty good, thanks! One thing I had a struggle with was the hind legs.
you know your comparason to video games for art its actually true(by the way i love it! Awesome i see it that way too!) As the more you draw you do get more expierenced, anything in life it will grow and blossom! Any mistakes you do can help you in the far future!
Wow! Thank you for such an encouraging comment! I am glad you enjoy drawing! I love seeing drawings done by viewers like you. If you want to share them on my facebook or my instagram "@artcartcafe" Have a great day and thanks again.
yah i been drawing without guide lines i only just started relizing to use them i get quiet confused when i do them but i try can you do some more wolves in motion? like playing in water trying to catch a butterly etc? it would be really awesome if you could :)
Aww! Cute :) Your voice is so sweet, I dare say it must've helped for the final artwork. I hung it up on my personal art wall in my bedroom. I also mashed this pose with some others I found online to make a big scene, thanks for making this video!
1st vid I watched and I subbed, I can tell you got some good insight on this subject. And I never thought about the joint thing, so your video gave me new things to try. Thanks!
I watched your video. It was awesome! you are a graet teacher I wish I could meet u in real life so u could teach me! so, I was watching your video and I made a huge mistake and I started to overreact I mean my heart started pounding like crazy because I just failed to draw such a cool drawing but after a while tried again and again until I finally got it! YOUR AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please make a video of how to draw a dragon please! THANKS FOR EERYTHING
Thanks Dinesha! I am glad you enjoy the videos! I wish I could met all my viewers too! I have meet a few and that was super awesome. Great job on sticking with your drawing until you got it and not giving up. I have more dragon videos on my list, but if you haven't seen the ones I have posted, check them out. You might enjoy them too!
For learning and practicing purposes, its fine. But If you use someone else's drawing and draw it just like they do, you can't claim it as your own original drawing. You can take inspiration from the drawing and create your own piece.
I tried using the circle thing and it works really well I made a wolf howling at the moon because I just watched your other video how to draw a wolf howling mine did not look like yours all the way because I tried doing to without looking at yours and I really like how it looks so thank you for telling me that :3
I really like your videos and I drew my first ever motion-filled wolf drawing with the help of this very video. I will be sure to watch more videos from your channel in the future. - TW339
It took me 2 or 3 years before I mastered drawing ponys (thumbs up to the bronies) i'm still not perfect but I improved greatly since I started! keep on keepin on artists! ;)
when i saw this for the first time i was laughing at the comments you make in the video. This was my first video that you made that i have seen and you really insipred me to not give up cause i tend to crumble up papers and see if i tossed in the trash. See if im good at something, shooting a basket. Well not all the time do i make the basket. Well anyways i think i should jusy keep going your right. Thank you for the help. Oh is that…… is that a suscribe button? huh… lets click it and see what happens. *Clicks subscribe button*
Thanks, Kortny, for such an encouraging comment! I am glad that you are going to keep on drawing! I have made a lot of basket shots with my drawings as well. It is something every artist learns! :) She shoots! She Scores!!! Thanks for subscribing! :)
I got shading pencils with a eraser and a pencil sharpener. It also same with a wolf practicing sheet..I am on the 2nd one now and I am about to shade it ;)
I can only draw side profiles thx so much for this helped a lot you is de awesomest person ever!!! so exited next year I get to join an art high school!!! thank you SO much for this tutorial!!!!!!!!!
what i mean is (finally calmed down) I couldnèt get the 3d effect I needed on my wolves and then I found dis tutorial and poof!!! YAY YOU ARE THE BEST!!! (i wish i could go through my computer and give you a sqeez lol)
That's wonderful! I was wondering that you could draw a wolf that jumps the lower left some kind of water through the tunnel? The wolf would represent the water element. That would be nice. It would be a challenge to you, but I do not know whether it would be easy for you, when you're already the best! :)
I have trouble with expressing my art when I am not thinking straight and I am a artist so I will turn your videos on to feel inspired I do not draw what you draw I draw what I see in my mind after I listen to your inspiring words
Thank You So So Much!!! Thanks to your amazing videos, I draw better, I used to not draw the bones, the chest or head and hind legs, I just drew without all of that, Thank You!!!
It indeed takes patience to draw but you WILL get there. Whoever you are reading this do not be discouraged by "I've been trying to draw for so long and still can't get what I want" keep trying! That's wonderful! I was wondering that you could draw a wolf that jumps the lower left some kind of water through the tunnel? The wolf would represent the water element. That would be nice. It would be a challenge to you, but I do not know whether it would be easy for you, when you're already the best! :)
