From one stunner to the next. Churchill is coming on- the shapes your metal wizards were heading for are coming very clear. Can't wait to hear your driving impression after redesigning the OEM set up- my first Jag was a refugee from the Yard- still had mounts in it for a radio and an electric dash box lock. Brisk handling was always brisk, very brisk, nothing very E type about it. Fr
Like many Sunday'ers, I've watched Morris's re-birthing since day one & now what a fine looking machine it is.... Only suggestion is to sleeve the mirror cable somehow. Wonderful job chaps 👍👍👍
There is a parallel here on budgets with Admiral Rickover, who was in charge of the early development of the US nuclear navy. He told his engineers that when the project was 90% completed, they'd better still have 50% of the budget available to complete it, because it was going to be needed.
Who would have thought that a humble "Moggy" would have so much electrical wizardry in it .🙂 My favourite as well as my mum taught me to drive in one.🙂

Morris is looking great. "Normally when you're closing your boot you don't have anything in your hands." The thing I like most about the boot in a car is that you can put things in it, AND take things out!
Great episode as always, hope Stu feels better quickly. Morris looks fantastic and if ye get it out for testing try swinging by a couple of blokes not too far from ye that were messing around with a Mini and give them some tips on completing a project please.
I actually said out loud "hey sexy mama, wanna kill all humans?" when you showed the Camaro centre console. Would only take a bit of airbrushing now it's silver....
Can you please do an Autofocus on the zinc metal spraying? Parts, pieces, setup, pressures, spray pattern, and coating thickness. I am still hoping to be able to do my farm equipment and maybe my Land Rovers.
There is a video where they describe the hot zinc coating. The gun for it is over £2000, it’s not really a “home” type process, since you effectively melt the zinc rod and then spray it hot onto the shell. I looked at setting up a bay, since I have a large barn, but it was prohibitively expensive vs subcontracting it out.
Do custom radiator cores come in standard sizes? Possibly with data on the power output that they can dissipate? That would shorten design time and prevent the specification of some expensively odd shape.
Good question! It is possible to do some benchmarking by looking the the cross sectional area of cars with similar power and/or using the figures suggested by the SAE. Having established this CSA, you can then look for a size that goes with your project and then contact a reputable firm (Radtec in GB are excellent - no affiliation, just a happy customer). Firms often take cores from OEM to keep costs down. Caterham radiators come from VW Polos...
That's the Pareto principle, originally posited as 80-20 for weath distribution, it has been applied (almost) universally because it is so accurately descriptive. It's also sometimes referred to as the 90-10 rule. In practice, I've found it can also be considered a 90-90 rule - 90% of the work done, 90% of the work still to be done 😉👍
Great work as always, love watching the videos. I often wonder why you only fit Dynamat to the corners sections of the roof. Could you please tell me why you dont fit more Dynamat on the roof panel.
the camero :who ever choise the car first then colour then wheels its nice to see somebody with good taste im sure it make all the hard work ,,,,,well!!!!! say no more
I do think that the rear view camera being at headlight height is going to be annoying despite the auto dipping function. This will cause the dipping function to be almost permanently active when a car is behind at night even if the lights aren't blinding the driver.
Beautiful job on the Morris interior. It's being driving me mad for months, trying to think of which car I recognise the exterior rear light cluster from. They're not original to the Morris are they? Will somebody please put me out of my misery? 🙃
Surprised to see the fuel filler inlet half way down the side of the tank. So the tank could never be filled above that level - is that usual and all part of the need to vent?
Solid "nope" for the tank hack. Modern fuel tends to melt every foam invented, sooner or later. The bits of the foam clogg fuel injectors, usually in mid run, causing acute leaning in fuel delivery. Direct out vents suck dirt into the tank and too small surge tank cavitates the pump and airrates the fuel. With all politeness, I strongly suggest going back to drawing board with this one.
