Yeah stay away from Riverside, the audio drift is ridiculously terrible.
Just tried out Riverside based on all the recommendations, and it was a complete mess (I am in trial mode, so there is that). Heavy white noise in the recordings, crosstalk from guest into host audio (not from audio feedback - seems to be something in the processing somehow), and dropped frames in the video.
Yup just used riverside and my audio sounds so bad with the video podcast.
How is SquadCast? Any issues such as guests being able to join the podcast?

This was actually a great review! Straight to the point and I love that you compared what you get in each price plan. I think I’m going to give a Zencastr a go for now but will keep an eye out on developments with Riverside as it seems like it could a great investment for the long term
Really wanted Riverside to work, but it's ruined 3 or 4 of my podcast episodes now with buggy audio or video. Or just plain glitching! Switched over to Squadcast and I noticed an immediate improvement in reliability.
riverside sounds good when marketed but i keep hearing about its drift
I guess I'll use squadcast. My video audio sounded terrible.

Actually, Zencastr has added the producer's panel with all the sound effects, like in riverside.
You said in the past that Riverside had been losing recorded files. Is this still true?

I’ve been using Riverside very buggy, glitchy, and video lags and also video doesn’t funny process. So I am going to try another app and one recommended one of the two?
Oddly enough my audio sounded off when I recorded a video.
streamyards has call in works well.riverside looks great but its still having tec issues

Haha theres nothing worse than the skype ring noise. I think I decline the call out of principle haha

I’m planning on starting a podcast on an area of crypto currency that from my POV is sorely needed because too many people are missing the boat on what this revolution actually represents. I really don’t want to be a podcaster, but believe if I don’t no one else will and I don’t want to do a half ass Job if I’m going to do it. This is very helpful! Thanks a bunch.

I’m thinking it’s best to have some sort of loosely assembled business plan and jumping into a podcast with a big investment is not my style. I’d like to start off with a polished iPhone type presentation that I would script and try to hit certain bullet points to see if anyone finds my input on the subject worth listening to. And, if so decide the how and what to expand in equipment based on other factors later. Any suggestions? If you’d like to make a video of helping me setup my small business crypto UA-cam channel I’d certainly be willing to work on that with you. Maybe we can both learn something?

2 Years later and Riverside is still completely unreliable. Failed 3x in 2 streams.
Zencastr is a disaster, constant technical problems. Even the friendly and kind support can't make up for it. I am looking for a new service
Really? After hearing terrible stuff about riverside I thought zencastr would be better
@@furqanmeerza8382 i had problems with the paid version, i just couldn't make it work, especially including the logo.
also, just lost my last interview - the health check was all good, however, the guest's version didn't download, he had to do it manually afterwards
in the end we saved it, but that's not the point
now i have to wait until after the interview whether i really have the interview or maybe not, maybe it didn't download?
i've also heard about riverside's problems, so i am probably opting for squadcast
