What a beautiful tune! Well played! Arkansas fiddler Hubert Caldwell played a very similar tune at Galax in 1964 and called it Paddy on the Turnpike (thank you Whitetop music).
Mr. Summers called it "Corn on Tire" and thought that a very odd and incomprehensible name for a tune. J.W.Day recorded a (as I recall) different tune called :No Corn On Tygart". I'm pretty sure that Summers learned his tune from Bath Co., KY, fiddler Tom Riley and didn't know that 'Tygart' was the name of a river and misheard the name.

Always loved this one. Johns has added a couple of twists of his own and does a fine job with the tune. Thanks!
Amazing skill and accuracy. Rhys has a great feel for the tune
