This was brilliant. I actually thought they gave me the wrong belt. I was ready to guy one of these tools to do the job. This zip tie worked so well after fighting this for an hour I tried the zip tie and had it done in 1 min.
I literally just gone done replacing the water pump belt on my Mazda. Same engine as this. And it was pain to do by myself but I eventually got it. Had to use 2 zip ties

If you just bump the engine, you won't have to add all the other steps. The zip-tie also gets cut at the same time.
