Yes, it really depends of the banlist, the events, and others "options" like the timer because. :( After for the rest, you do it once and it's finish...
I agree with much of what you say here, although I don't think a commitment to either a base of competitive or casual players is really necessary. A larger amount of game modes in general would improve the game. Moreover, I really want to see a significant update to the secret packs soon.
I may be in the minority here but, I really despise the new timer limit. I usually take longer to duel because I read most cards. I don't play often so I forget what some cards do. I've already lost a couple of duels due to time. I'm hoping they see all the surrenders due to time out and give us an extra 60 to 100 seconds back. Lol Trying not to make a wall of text. I really agree with what you said at the end. Konami is really squandering so much potential by not committing more resources to the game.
If I run out of time playing in a duel I just let it time me out (usually with like 15-10 seconds left). When I see the clock ticking down while knowing I have multiple plays left in my turn it always ends up making me anxious and missplay. I'd rather face the opponent duelist and not the clock. It makes it even harder in complex duels and in duels where you face a new deck where you have to read all the cards. This single handedly will kill any new/learning player. Combo in now they made a ranked event that has it's rewards gated by rank with restricted decks with rewards that are reduced/nerfed compared to older events, casuals are in for a real rough time.
Hi, firstly let me just say that I like your synchron deck very much and I think it's one of the best synchron decks out there. Synchrons is basically one of the only two decks that I play in master duel (the other being blackwings, I would like to play a rose deck as well but it seems too weak now), as I enjoyed the 5D's series a lot in my childhood. I'm currently putting together a synchron deck in real life, following the exact decklist that you had in your last synchron science video, so that I can play in some local casual tournaments (I live in an OCG region). But that requires a sidedeck, so I would like to ask what cards would you put in the sidedeck, and how would you go about sidedecking in between games? Also, since I just joined the channel, may I know if there had been any changes to your synchron decklist? Thanks!
I'm gonna m ake a new Synchron video soon, but i haven't changed much no. as for side decking, that's kinda hard to give general advice on because it depends on the meta of where you play. you'll face different decks at your local store than you would in regionals, or a YCS, etc. your side deck should be focused on countering the strategies you're likely to face where you're playing. Also, the existence of side decks allow you to optimize your deck for going first or second. for example, if you know you'll be going first , you don't want a lot of handtraps in your deck. so you can take a lot of them out to make room for your tech cards, floodgates, etc. if you go second against a combo deck you want a ton of handtraps and/or board breakers...if you go second against a backrow deck you'll remove all your handtraps to put in some form of spell/trap removal, etc. Which of those types of cards you put in your sidedeck, and how many, will depend on your analysis of the meta. for example, if you think you'll be primarily going up against fast combo decks, you're not gonna dedicate much space to spell/trap removal. anyways, here's a list of what's most commonly used in side decks *-handtraps* (ash blossom, veiler, imperm, etc for going second against combo decks) *-board breakers* (cards like Droplet and dark ruler no more, also for going second against combo) *-Spell/trap removal* (lightning vortex, duster, etc. for going second against backrow decks) *-floodgates* (anti spell fragrance, gozen match, etc. these will depend heavily on whether your deck can support them. and are used to try to get free wins when going first) *-meta specific tech cards* (used when certain decks are very prevalent. for example, when despia, punk variants and swordsoul were the best decks in the TCG, a lot of people were running dimensional barrier as it counters all of them very heavily.)
I play a Six Samurai deck and the timer really hurts me a lot. Since I have to remove counters in a very precise manner along with certain orders of card combinations. The other problem is the slow trickle of content as well as that, I have a feeling that this game was meant to come out a year ago. But due to covid it was released in 2022 and all of what is going on is them still beta testing or something along those lines. And we are at this point three to four sets behind the IRL core and other card sets.
I want a permanent N+R mode. That event was super fun. I loved how forgotten card became staples and janky decks became meta. Given enough time, the format would shape up considerably.
I think it would be cool if we have old master rule formats (player 1 starting with 6 cards etc). In the old days you could activate spell speed 1 effects on summon like a spell speed 2 quick effect.
I honestly just prefer to play against my friends atm, or try to play with the structure decks to get off the meta with all the negates and stuff, it changes the pace and from time to time it's cool. I just wish i had money and peeps like some youtubers have to make all those funny challenges like dark magician vs blue eyes or pick a booster pack and only use cards from that booster those type of videos are what brings me joy in this game atm , i played alot in the first seasons but then it just got repetetive
i'll make some sort of supernova deck this month...it was really hard to use it before due to anything that ran the adventurer engine having a free searchable out to supernova. now it should work better since people stopped using the engine so much.
I like the reduced time since theres decks out there thats basically "I'm playing solitare for 5 minutes. Go order a pizza cause by the time I'm done, you're stunned." Or you play against a bot that stalls out the game.
Do you agree that master duel has become a bit stagnant lately and seems to lack a proper direction?
yes,i miss the first days of master duel
Yes
Disagreed.

Lost Yesterday because of time limit, really frustrating, i agree with u about the possibility to add a "draft" gamemode

Until season 10 and they dint improve for mobile. Deck editor is laggy too when u scroll. And they even dafe to reduce timelimit

that was a good one yeah. that and the limit 1 events were the best ones so far i'd say.

Can you make a new sword souls Supernova deck video please
i'll make some sort of supernova deck this month...it was really hard to use it before due to anything that ran the adventurer engine having a free searchable out to supernova. now it should work better since people stopped using the engine so much.
@@ItachiYGO cool it should be able to last in rank right
Also my fave deck, can’t wait for video

What deck would that be?
@@CocTheElf Six Samurai or varients that use Gateway of the six. Sometimes Pendulums.
