This particular outro, has a very Allman Brothers feel to it, reminiscent of "Melissa".

Final jam had a Purple Rain lick dying to be thrown in there!!! As soon as Pete started playing I was like "any second now the licks coming!!!" Great guitars, love my Empress and they age very quickly. Had mine about 18 months now and its worn in beautifully!
The price isn’t that much when considering the economy of scale enjoyed by the major brands. Also with their history and market share you’d think that the major players retail prices would be much less than the boutique builder. But they aren’t that far off. But Top shelf quality shouldn’t be cheap.
Nice to see that Radioshop gets a sales boost from this, love my Chris Buck sets character.
I’m rarely an HSS guy, but... that Radio Shop PAF was the perfect humbucker choice for the bridge! So smooth, well done

Dang, those are beautiful! The blue burst-ish one would look AWESOME with the flame maple neck that is on that sea foam green one. Perhaps a coil split on the humbucker? Love the look of those guitars...but the price is way beyond my skill level. (Yes I am crying in my beer right now)

You guys are awesome. Just a quick question though, since these guitars are essentially the same price as Custom Shop Strats, how do they compare?
Funny how people are commenting they don’t like the headstock. Personally I absolutely love the headstock. Played one of these at andertons. Best strat I have ever played by far. I own a lovely fender CS strat but these are better.

Those necks and finishes are gorgeous! I love how he cut the flamed maple fingerboard so that the flame was at an angle, compared to the perpendicular flame of the back of the neck! I'm glad he doesn't make P-Basses, otherwise I would be out whatever £2,999 coverts to USD (plus freight and fees)! 😂

Great to see a tiny UK luthier in a big (albeit still independent) store. If you’re after something less conventional definitely take a look at Fidelity Guitars from Cambridge.
Amazing guitars. Today was Lee the king of tone with the green guitar on bridge pickup. But what was the Leslie sounding pedal Pete used in intro?
I upgraded vibrato in my Fender CS strat with Wudtone CP 50 (string spacing 54 mm) and Highwood saddles (10.8 mm)_better intonallity, resonance and playing feel, keeping the same vintage look! Recommended!!
They sound great and I’m sure they feel great... but really surprised I’ve never seen you guys demo schecter USA custom shop traditional wembley or PT traditional wembley models hands down best s and t type guitars out of the USA and actually don’t play my fender master built 57 strat after picking the schecter up.... love them so much I bought 4 since September 2019..... would love to see you guys review one of the most underrated and misunderstood brands Schecter custom shop they do A LOT MORE than metal gear

Stunning guitars! Curious as to why there is always a plastic cover on single coil strat pickups and the humbuckers are always nickel/gold covers. Is it a tonal, grounding reason? The mismatch in aesthetics has always bothered my OCD and put me off a HSS strat. But I love the tone of a humbucker in the bridge. Wonder if anyone knows the reason as to why you can’t have a white plastic humbucker cover to match?
Catherine Faulkner Check out the Music Man Cutlass HSS (Charcoal Frost). They have a matching white humbucker cover :) Ps: the guitar is designed by Leo Fender himself. Great guitar; stainless steel frets, locking tuners, silent circuit and the best neck out there (new models got roasted maple too).

Nice, but hugely expensive, that is the problem with the small master built guitar builders, i'm a fan but wow, these are really for top line guitarists, the quality is superb, it is good that great guitarists have a choice of something different away from the usual companies. some killer tones in the right hands, dream guitar for me especially the powder blue one , gorgeous

How is the tuning stability on the tremolo and can it be setup floating?
These look amazing but I always find that they sound bright, brittle, and brash. There’s something about the tone in the upper mids that I find really unpleasant. Not sure if it’s the stainless steel frets or the pickups? Everyone else seems to like the tone though, so maybe it’s just my ears?!
Honestly 2,999 for hand made in the uk with some of the most beautiful wood i have ever seen isnt that bad

The Blue is beautiful. Not sure I'd pay 3K for it though. Not knocking them but that kind of cash can buy a lot of top brand stuff. Just my opinion of course.

Neck size scale jumbo stainless steel frets? Tuners?
idealmethod 21mm at 1st fret, 22.5 at 12th fret. Stew Mac 154 frets, 9.5 - 12 compound radius with Gotoh vintage tuners. 👍🏻🎸
At those precis might as well get a Fender, obviously!
Would probably hold it’s price better but would it be a better guitar? Probably not, and wouldn’t come with those exotic wood finishes at that price!
The problem is that this is just another copy of the Fender Stratocaster. It is great if they are cheap and you can get a Fender looking guitar. If that is your goal but in the end what is the point?
It’s for “Players” who don’t care what name is on the headstock, they just want the best quality S type guitar they can afford!
It’s the same with Suhr and Anderson guitars, you could just call them “Strat” copies but they are more than that, much more and chosen and played by some of the better guitarist in the world!
