jimeca Yea, but she was deceiving him throughout their relationship and even lied to him about being pregnant. When he confronted her, he wasn't in his right mind. She was about to reach for the gun. He probably thought she was gonna shoot him and reached for the gun and shot her on an impulse (maybe he thought he needed to shoot her before she shot him as she was reaching for the gun) But of course, it's not right for him to shoot her. Just my observation.

She denied it at the time but in S1 which later admits in S1 which Nolan and Takeda pointed out that her original plan when she started dating Daniel to just infiltrate herself with the Grayson family. But she quickly fell in love with Daniel in the process. But when she heard Conrad confess to Daniel what he did to her Dad and Daniel covered for him it showed her he is no different from his parents. She didn’t see him the same way as she did before. But Emily being Emily instead of ending things went back to using him. 2nd go around that whole relationship was def a lie. Memory serves she was very much in love with Aiden and was going to run away with him after marrying Daniel lol. But plan was foiled when he shot her.
After replaying this scene so many times, the thirst level for more Daniel/Emily becomes higher than ever... I need more of this!!! +cries in the corner+ because this is one (if not my #1) of my all-time favorite scenes of the show....
It honestly breaks my heart that Daniel died because these little scenes between him and Emily after he discovered her identity just solidified the fact that he would've loved her through anything. After all the pain and lies and betrayal, there was still a place in his heart for her and they could've really been something had he survived Kate.

But when he is looking through the pictures on his laptop of him and Emily together... Why would he still have that on there or why would he even look at it before talking to her if not even the smallest part of him still has feelings for her. He can't excuse what she did and he isn't any better but finally he can understand her... The real Amanda and I feel like there was a real connection in this scene and Emily finally admitting she actually did have feelings for daniel makes it feel like they actually had a relationship and daniel is reminded of the person he used to be and how corrupted he is now. That would be such a plot twist if they got back together and that would just make me so happy... I can't wait for what the writers have in store for Danily!!!

I suspect he is just lonely in his life right now and is wishing for something better. I agree that he does seem to cling onto what he and Emily had and could of had if she had turned out to be the woman he thought she was. But now I think even he realizes their life together is more of a fantasy than a reality.
In my perspective, yes, what the Graysons family had done to Emily/Amanda was way worse than what Emily had done to them. Emily was just revealing the truth most of the time. Nothing comes to my mind really, the bad things Emily did. Most of time, it's the Graysons' fault.
I think he looked at the pictures after Charlotte told him the truth just to see if he was with Amanda or Emily at his wedding. I guess when you learn something new you see things from a different angle.
Honestly, I don't expect a endgame, I don't expect a new romance. This was everything I wanted. They are gonna still be my Otp, just as much (or even more) that in the pilot, and I'm not even a little sorry for this.

Daniel was hurt, too and just because of that, he had been a little out of control that he hurt her. The thing that I love about this couple is they both got hurt by each other. And I think there might have a chance for them still, just thinking and hoping. There's something that in his eyes that saying he still has something for her. We always love the one that hurt us :)

Well, for me I think that they could have been real if the writers didn't side Daniel with his Father. I think it could have been interesting if one of the Grayson was working with Emily against Conrad and Vic'. It would have been a bold move for the writers to make Daniel a #TeamEmily against his own family.
