i live in wisconsin so i’m not able to train in person with you i am going into my freshman year will your videos help me to become the best cb i can become?
I have a pretty big frame and really long legs so i feel a lot more comfortable with my legs wider then shoulder width in my starting press stance. Is that fine or should i fix my technique?
Don't get them too wide. You want them under your hips as much as possible to maximize your ability to explode in any direction upon the WRs move. Sure you want to be comfortable but you also need to be able to move quickly when the WR is trying to exit the line of scrimmage.
No I do not but I do have DBs from south carolina using my members area to get more information on drills, technique, coverages and more. You should join: alleyesdbcamp.com/sign-up/
This was very good instructions until the end. The worst advice you can give a Db, when it comes to stance, is to mimic squat sequences. That forces his weight to his heels which is the what you want when you squat but never in a Db stance.
Once again you are wrong. I'll just use you, an obvious troll, to further educate the defensive backs that come here for help. So since you've never played except for on Madden, the entire essence of the squat movement in the weightroom is to build explosion in athletes. To do so, the athlete executing the move must push into the ground, through their center mass to move the weight. This is exactly the movement desired upon the release of a wide receiver, an explosive movement either left, right, back or to anchor down to get an effective jam if the situation calls for it. Either way, the position of power is with the whole foot in the ground not up on your toes or on your heels. Athletes performing a squat are told to push through their heels not put all their weight on their heels. Putting all your weight on your heels leads to your falling over like you did on this comment. Can't wait for your next troll to run up my comments and boost the popularity of the video on UA-cam. Thanks
@@GridironStuds you literally just made my point. You cannot push through your heels without having your weight in your heels. And no point in his stance or backpedal should a Db ever ever ever has his weight on his heels
@@vandyschamp weight on your heels would be if you raised your toes off the ground with your heels planted. Aye leave this stuff to me man. Go play Madden and quit trolling all the videos on my page to try and gain followers. Put out quality content that would help you.
@@GridironStuds im not looking for followers my guy. You just may for me to start a DB channel and right your wrongs though. You make decent content but not very detailed which may be by design.
