A preschool will let my kid in at 2.5 years. So he would be in preschool for 3 years since he is a jan baby before kindergarten. What are your thoughts on that? Also seems to be one preschool class for 3 to 5 year olds.
From experience I’ve seen schools usually let them in preschool around 2.9 years. It’s great to be in preschool longer and be older one each year. Gives them more time for maturity and growth and they perform much better through school. California is now changing the system to try and get every child in tk before kindergarten to help them. Ryleighs bday is October so she will be 5 in tk and 6 in kindergarten which I love. She will be a lot older and that will give her a great lead in school for the rest of her education years.
