It's been a long time since I lived up there but did you enter Nisene Marks in Aptos and pop out in Soquel?

Sure looked like they dropped down to the olive springs quarry to me and the dropped old Sam Jose?

Yup! We descended the Aptos Creek Fire Road onto San Jose-Soquel Road and back down into Soquel.
