Wilmington is a port city in North Carolina. It’s known as a gateway to Cape Fear Coast beaches like Wrightsville, with its strong surf, and Carolina, with its long boardwalk. Part of downtown’s Historic District, the Riverwalk is lined with restaurants, galleries and shops. It runs along the Cape Fear River, where the Battleship North Carolina is moored. Artifacts on the ship explore WWII naval combat history.

I’ve lived here my whole life. I will never leave it’s been home to many generations of my family.
That's great if that's what you like but I'm happy to have lived in 8 different states and several different cities. At almost 60 now I have to say I'm really glad I've ventured out and lived in many other places and am happy, for now anyway, to call NC as my home. Wilmington is really nice, I love it, but have lived in many other great places too. Hopefully you've seen more of the world while living in one place. I lived in Hawaii and had friends that have never even been off that island in their 70 years of life! 😮 Its amazing to me to live a whole life and never move off one rock. 🤷🏼♀️

Not really! We had out door restaurants and the beach and parks with trails to walk, we weren't confined like in California and other places!
