Gotta love it when somebody who actually knows what he's doing is uploading build videos. Unlike certain people who just narrate a quest to find aesthetic gear and explaining enchanting loops.
Plus it is available so early! I had forgotten how effective it as well. The vanilla perk trees are strange, some perks are worthless then you have some that are incredible like this.
Man it's the first time you pop up on my suggestions and I watched the whole thing. A mix of the amazing music, the memes and how good you're at the game made me unable to stop watching this. Amazing video. Immediately liked and suscribed
Small note for those who don't mind using mods and are a little tired of Longhammer being a generic Orcish warhammer; The unique uniques mod gives it a unique appearance (changes nothing about it but it's appearance) that makes it look like a classic and very pretty Nordic warhammer. Good for roleplaying if you're a Nord or barbarian type
Another option for 2-Handed with no crafting is Nerveshatter. It's a sidequest of Saint and Seducers, and i think you should just be able to go there and grab the thing without the quest but idk. You need an amber ore and a madness ore, but you basically get an enchanted Madness Hammer for free. Only problem is that you're either lucky or you have to go trought the Solitude Sewer boss for the ores. Also Jyggy's sword should be good for Elemental Fury
@@son_of_the_heavymetal1142 I was experimenting a bit with Nerveshatter and it actually did slightly more damage than Stendarr’s hammer, but not enough to require fewer hits so I dropped it entirely
Been enjoying Skyrim again because of your videos and was wondering if there is a way to visualize hit boxes? Been wanting to find a better way to deal with wolves.
@@fairlyvermicidal2711 To be honest, I don’t really have a good way to fight wolves except for the quick reflexes stuff in the video. As for the hitboxes, I just play the game to get a feel for it. Maybe there’s a way to see it in the editor or whatever it’s called, but such arcanery is more along the lines of Sickliff’s channel
i love the two hander's giant dance, looks way slicker than one handed or dual wielding. As for the build itself, have you tried stamina maxxing and using temporary HP bonuses to keep you alive? The dreaded killcam isnt as frequent with heavy armor
The two hander timing is much tighter, there's basically no downtime. Can't say I tried anything but HPmaxxing. Most of the time my armor rating's in the double digits so I can't really rely on that, especially against other two handers.
To add to what poorman said, what i do to make the game a bit easier with heavy armor is skill train to 70 with that orc merchant in dushnikh yal so i can get the conditioning perk. Then it doesn't have a move speed penalty anymore and it's much more convenient to use. Just takes a while
@@4hp_89 i do that every playthrough, heavy armor's style is too good to pass up - but weight is a nuisance and grinding it on legendary is a no starter. Then thanks to staminamaxxing every point i spend into stamina allows me to have extra few fortitfy HP&MP pots making me stronger overall.
@@Borntolagagain nah, don't do that. The way armor works in this game, aka every defense point is stronger than the last, you need to stack as much AR as quickly as possible. Lord is always the correct choice

@@poormansproductions2402 Man fire arrows are fun but for whatever reason they weren't stopping Karstaag's regen, what a bummer. Instead of spinning around a giant wouldn't it be better to just take vegetable soup and bash + attack spam? It's just unnecessarily long. Unless you consider it crafting or an exploit.
@@Borntolagagain the way I fought the giant was the easiest, but not the most efficient. The Karstaag fight showcases the best one and it’s quite literally spamming attacks non-stop so you can’t really be quicker than that (he would regen the damage otherwise). The no-crafting argument doesn’t hold, I am making cabbage soup, the exploit one is more convincing. I also don’t like perma bashing because every fight would look the same even if you could do it the legit way.
Never happened to me and I use it quite a bit as you can see. Is it mayhaps this bug from the wiki? Sometimes, when fighting with the Quick Reflexes perk, the slow time effect will continue indefinitely if you shield bash an opponent while they are power attacking. A variety of methods can be used to break the effect, however the only fool-proof way is to stand in front of an enemy and block until they power attack you again. I basically never bash so that part checks out.
Thanks for the reply. It would always give me a problem whenever I would take that perk. I thought they fixed it. I’m going to try not to shield bash the enemy while they’re power attacking. Great vid by the way definitely subscribing.
Understandable, have a nice day. In all seriousness, I was damagemaxxing here since I thought that would be the only way to kill the Ebony Warrior, but there is still 70%-80% worth of wiggle room.
